  Leo’s first outing

  The food was delicious and the owner and staff were super friendly. Robert sat down and talked with us and made everyone- especially little Leo feel welcome.

  Love it - great Cajun food!

  Just passing thru looking for dog friendly place for dinner and we’re intrigued by great reviews. If not for internet, we’d never have found this place, in an old gas station. A huge storm had just downed trees and cut off power but Marilynn’s had a generator running and it didn’t seem to slow them one bit. I had catfish platter, wife had jumbalaya, our dog had a burger patty, that plus 4 local draft beers came to about $70 and was worth every penny. Staff were very welcoming. If you love Cajun food, this place won’t disappoint.

  Great staff

  The staff & owner was very welcoming of my pitbull rescue, The owner has one himself. We were invited to eat inside & they even had bowls for his food & water. This will be a must everytime I visit, The food is the best I've had in the area. Highly recommend the etouffee!!

  Really disappointed

  They are NOT open Monday and Tuesday even though their website says they are. We went way out of our way to go there based on the rave reviews to find a sign on the door with summer hours that do not match their website. I don't want to give a rating.because we didn't experience it.

  So friendly

  What a wonderful place! They are certainly pet friendly and we love it. The food was great and so was the service. Kudos to everyone there for providing a great experience with our dog

  Delicious food and friendly atmosphere

  This place is awesome! I highly recommend. I got a crawfish poboy and my mom got a catfish poboy. Delicious! The place is very dog friendly. We brought our dog and she was treated like a queen.. You can eat with your dog inside or out. Robert the owner made the rounds and talked to everyone in the restaurant. He is the proud fur dad to a Great Dane and a Pit Bull, both are rescues. Very nice guy! I am looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu.

  Excellent everything!

  This little restaurant is wonderful. It’s in a converted gas station so it has character. There’s plenty of seating so we were able to sit apart from other folks and have a nice quiet dinner without worrying that our dog was going to get stepped on. She could relax. The staff was very helpful and got water for her. And the food. Oh my! We shared a fried shrimp and catfish platter and it was enough for both of us. Since we’re only in LA for one day, I’m glad we came here and highly recommend it.

  Worth the Trip!

  We were looking for local southern food, well we found it in this place. Food Amazing! And they let the pets come eat inside. But also offers an outside patio. They give water bowl & and for food, the best thing on the menu for our fido friends will be the sweet potato fries unsalted). Highly recommend, with a great atmosphere & amazing cuisine!

  Super Pet Friendly along with Amazing Food!

  Amazing experience! The food was AMAZING and the Staff was AWESOME! Loved that our little dash was treated with such kindness and love! Wonderful stop before headed back to Texas!

  Great Food And VERY Dog Friendly.

  we were a bit concerned about eating outdoors (50 degrees) with our dogs, but Marilyn’s had lots of space and let us bring the dog into the garage area that was warm and dry. the food was great and so was the service.

  Best Cajun Food Ever!

  The restaurant is a remodeled gas station that has a bar with inside and outside seating.This was not only the best cajun food( with lots of spice that we love) but the nicest , most dog loving staff. Everything was amazing,. We over-ordered but will definitely enjoy the leftovers. in case you are wondering, Mac( the dog) had brisket and rice!

  Super Dog-Friendly and Cool Place

  This is one of the best places we've ever taken our 3 chow chows! They welcomed them inside and outside of the restaurant, had an amazing Sunday brunch and drink specials, and was filled with fun, cool, friendly folks...and the food was excellent....definitely will drive over 100 miles to visit here again!

  Great food

  Don't get large poboy unless you intend to share! Many outside dog-friendly tables. They brought us a water bowl for our dog. They even invited us inside with dog, to order.

  Best food in northwestern Louisiana!

  Very dog welcoming, and human to :) The chef and owner himself, Robert, came to say hello to our two little pups. And the food... OMG. Honest to goodness cajun and creole classics made with a good helping of love. You must go!
