  Nice location, service sucked

  We took our three dogs here over the weekend. The location was awesome. The service was lacking big time. I tried to order hot dogs off the dog menu which they offer 1 for $9.99 or 2 for $12.99. I wanted 3 that I would divide up since one of the dogs is a chihuahua and doesn’t need a whole hot dog to himself. When the bill arrived, I was charged $29.97 for 3 individual hot dogs. When I told him I had wanted the two for $12.99 and an extra, he said that since it came out of the kitchen as 3 individual hotdogs, there was nothing he could do except to charge us for a 4th hotdog and get another one to come out of the kitchen. Unhappy with his answer, we decided it wasn’t worth arguing with an illogical argument, so we paid. He then brought us someone else’s card back, realized the mistake when the other table complained, then took both cards and came back several minutes later. In addition, the tables have cards on them to flip over if you need service, but he had disappeared for the entire duration of the meal, so we went without drinks. The service was not worth the cost.

  Lazy lizard is crazy good!

  100% dog friendly with no restrictions... Great place to drink and eat. Staff was very polite And friendly. Definitely the place to go when traveling with animals.

  Dogs are allowed inside and out!!

  We went to De Lazy Lizard on 7/31 and we were able to sit inside with our dogs as it was storming out. Our dogs had such a great time, I felt like their doggie menu items were a little pricey though but over all a good experience.

  [Translated from French] It's a really nice place and it's possible to eat or have a drink inside or outside with doggie. I went there on a Monday night in July and it was full!! I read the other reviews and on our end, our server didn't bring us water or anything for the dogs. There was a dog menu available. As far as humans are concerned, the portions are small for the price but hey, you're paying for the view because the restaurant is on the water's edge.

  This place was amazing!

  This place was awesome! We brought the whole family (2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 kids and our dog Gracie). We sat at the kid beach, our kids went and played at the playground. There were all kinds of fun mocktail drinks for the kids and drinks for the adults.

  When we first sat down they brought over a water bowl for our dog (without asking) and some treats. They even had a doggie portion on the menu so they wouldn’t be left out. I fed her before we came so she wouldn’t be hungry, otherwise I would have ordered her something. I was so excited to see that!

  Staff was very welcoming -- Brought out a bowl of water and asked if they could give my girls some dog biscuits. My two dogs got lots of love from the staff and even fellow diners passing by our table! The food, drinks, and waitress were all great. We will definitely be back :)

  Service was good and food was worth it! My pup enjoyed the atmosphere and they brought her a doggie bowl with cold water! Well worth it and we will be back!

  We were in OC for the day and wanted a place to take our 10mo ESS Molly. The staff was super friendly, and made sure our girl had water and treats. We’ll definitely be back.

  Amazing Atmosphere

  The staff was beyond nice everyone needed to stop at my table and pet my dog, they brought him water and overall just a great experience would definitely recommend and will be sure to go back!!

  Great food, very relaxing, very dog friendly

  Most relaxing meal of the entire trip. Food was great. Staff was very nice to us and our dog (Gatling). He loved laying on the deck and also sitting on the bench with me and wife while we ate.

  Enjoyed our meal with our dog included! She was greeted warmly by employees, given her own dish of water and a biscuit. We will definitely return!

  Loved de Lizard

  The Atmosphere, Drinks and Food were Awesome! The staff was super friendly. Loved the fact we could bring our dogs to eat on the deck. Beautiful sunset, chill environment! Will be returning!

  A fun find

  We really enjoyed having a tasty lunch on the water with our dog Sunny. The staff immediately made us feel welcome with Sunny. Although, dogs are allowed only on the deck, it was a great location on the water and the kids could even play on the playground within view of where we were sitting, We had a nice lunch of flavorful sandwiches. Since Sunny was hungry watching us eat lunch, we ordered a plain grilled chicken sandwich which the Server was more than happy to deliver to Sunny with a smile. We all would be happy to go back there the next time we visit OC.
