  So much fun!

  I have wanted to try Skillets with my girl Pippa for a long time but parking was never easy to find. This time we were able to go. Food is delicious and they have a menu just for pups! Pippa loved her entree (although I’m guessing she gladly would’ve traded for my ribeye). The staff was very attentive and excited to see my girl. 😊

  Awesome spot!

  If I could give more than 5 bones, I would! This place is SO dog friendly. Even has a doggy menu that I'll attach to this post. The customer service is beyond the chain. The crabcakes are a decent size and the shrimp is made to perfection. They also have an exfoliating sample hand soap in the womans' bathroom that I HAD to buy a jar. They come in different aromas. We ended up with the Lavendar and my hands have never felt so smooth! Our dog loved the beef and barly,,, she asked for another bowl. Everything is made fresh to order. The owner doesn't sit in the office but actually interacts with the dining guest and she goes out of her way to ensure that all guests 2 legged even 4 legged, are taken care of. Akeitah (our Belgium Malinois) said thank you and the next time we go on a beach trip she's going to Skillets.

  Great Brunch Location for Dogs and Humans Alike!

  This was our second visit to Skillets Cafe, and both times left a positive impression. They have a unique dog menu for your pet, and while not the most appetizing in appearance, my Lacey had her bowl cleaned before any of the rest of us could even begin to make a dent in our meals. They also brought her ice water to drink, which was much appreciated. As for our food, Skillets has a great AYCE salad bar and great breakfast selections such as stuffed French toast and “The Kitchen Sink” - which pretty much has every breakfast item in it. Can’t say much else - this restaurant more than met expectations!

  Even have a doggy menu

  The first server was not great and maybe a little dog timid but she did the right thing and got us a new server who was fantastic. Food was good and Zoe even got to order from a doggy menu which she really loved.

  Good food, great patio.

  This was our second time going to Skillets. We brought our 2 dogs with us. We had decent service and the food was good. I was impressed with the amount of gluten free options available for my husband. The dogs enjoyed the doggie menu and we were immediately brought a bowl of water for them when we were seated.

  Disappointing

  I absolutely hate leaving a negative review, but for the money, it is not worth the visit. There is a sign that states they are short staffed, but everything has gone down hill. We ordered chicken and pecan waffles and the french toast. The waffle was drenched in syrup and the french toast was over cooked to the point of being very hard to cut (and eat). We ordered the turkey meal for our dog and it looked like canned dog food that had been sitting out (that brownish crust that develops). The only positive was our waitress was very kind and another waitress brought our dog a piece of bacon when she saw how long we were waiting for the food. So, if you go, please TIP well. The wait staff isn’t responsible for the quality of food and they are trying their best.

  Would visit again.

  Spacious patio seating. We went while it was raining so it was somewhat limited. They’re still rebuilding staff post pandemic but they were kind and accommodating to us. They brought a doggie menu - we didn’t try anything off of it but my pup was brought a complimentary piece of bacon. Human food seemed typical tourist spot price and quality

  Doggie Menu

  Wonderful place. Patio is very dog friendly with excellent staff who quickly brought our pup a water bowl. Lots of friendly attention and her own Doggie Menu! Excellent!!!

  Save your money...not worth it.

  I can’t believe the other reviews. We did not have a positive experience here. While I appreciate they are currently understaffed (signs noting this are everywhere at the restaurant), my husband’s healthy omelet was sitting in an inch of oil on his plate, and the coffee was either scorched or stale. His side item was also wrong. The waitress had to be reminded to bring out coffee, and we were sorry we bothered once we tasted it. They were nice to our dog and brought ice water out quickly. Staff was friendly but meal and experience was not worth the money. We won’t be back.

  Best breakfast in HHI

  We love Skillets! Very friendly staff and food is amazing! They have an elevated dog menu too. Very accommodating to us and to our pup. The instrumental religious music they play is a nice touch. I also love their sugar scrub in the restroom!

  First Time!

  Who would have thought...a dog menu at a restaurant! We will definitely be coming back to Skillets. Our Gypsie loved her special meal, and we loved having her with us at the restaurant. Staff was wonderful and treated our fur baby like people. And the food was delicious too!

  Delightful!!

  What a delightful experience with our mini dachshund! It was chilly and our server immediately put on the heaters for us. Then Strphanie
  brought a bowl of water for our pup. How fun to see a menu for our dog! We ordered from it and he loved it! A wonderful experience, especially as our first one with Bring Fido. Thank you!!

  Great Spot For Lunch!

  Our pup was greeted with a big bowl of cold water and we were happy with our entrees and ample free parking. While we didn’t order from the doggy menu, it offered a nice variety!

  Great food for humans and dogs!

  I came here with my family for dinner, and we LOVED our food. Our dog got the turkey dinner (there are 4 different options on the doggy menu), and ate all of it! Will be coming back while in HH for breakfast! Highly recommend.

  Great Food! Great Atmosphere!

  We loved it at the Skillets Cafe! Everyone there is so attentive to both us and the dogs. Definitely recommend.

  Happy Puppy!

  We had a blast taking our pup Dobbie to Skillets for breakfast...twice! They brought her a bowl of water and she enjoyed laying on the patio. The first time we ordered for her off the doggie menu, but she wasn’t really in to the breakfast we ordered so the second time she got to have eggs and bacon! We love Skillets- and highly recommend! Two paws up!!

  Great Lunch Spot

  We had a great lunch on the patio at Skillet’s with our Golden Retriever. They even have a “doggy menu”!! The human food was pretty good.

  Great location, dog friendly

  Stoop here for lunch with the dogs. Patio area is nice. They were friendly, and didn’t mind the dogs at all. They have a menu for human and a money for dogs, which they loved! Definitely a Hilton Head favorite and will be back!

  Very good lunch and dinner menu. They even have a yummy dog menu Ziggy says. Would definitely recommend.

  Friendly service average food

  We took our dog to dinner on the patio and were greeted by very friendly staff. The salad bar was great, the meatloaf was not. The owner came over and apologized when it was noticed we did not eat some of our food. She went above and beyond to try to make sure we had a nice evening. We were very impressed.

  Great food, friendly service

  Highly recommend this restaurant. Breakfast skillets and their buttermilk biscuits are delicious. My all-time favorite menu item is the shrimp BLT--- I dream of it when I'm at home in Pittsburgh! Wonderful iced tea, coffee, and mimosas. Nice dog menu as well-- never had one that my dog Fleury didn't love! We usually come here at least a few times on every trip to Hilton Head!
