The use a custom made drum barrel popular is southern California to cook all of their featured meats including chicken, pork, and ribs. There are several dog friendly tables outdoors where you and your pup can enjoy one of Chicken in a Barrel's barbecue entrees, burgers, or "Mexi'que" meals. Their barbecue entree plates feature all of their housemade meats like the Chicken and Rib Plate or the Hoage and two sides which comes with your choice of meat. For a little of everythign, go for the Sampler Plate, a local favorite with chicken, beef, pork, and a baby back rib. At the Hanalei location, you can also order one of ther Kauai Beef hambergers which come ina variety of classic stylings or try the Hawaiian cheeseburger with pineapple.

the staff here was sinker friendly to our golden. we arrived as a family of five and a dog and we’re immediately sat. the food was epic. the service was awesome. they even came around the counter to get doggo pets. 10/10 recommend. oh! and beer on tap!
