  Breathtaking View!

  We had lunch at The Reef. The reception we received was awesome. No questions asked about bringing our pup in. We had a table on the deck with a spectacular view. The food was amazing. We had the crab cake sandwich which was sooo good! Smokie was welcomed with a nice cold bowl of water and was comfortable sitting in his own chair. Loved it!

  Super pet friendly and accommodating

  The hostess went above and beyond to clean a table for us so that we could dine with our puppers even though the outdoor patio was closed.

  The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our server went out of her way to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything further, she also offered us to go drinks after we were done. Will definitely come back

  Great views and beach access!

  The oceanfront view makes this a great place to take your fur baby while enjoying your meal.

  We give 3 bones due to food being comparable to the many other seafood restaurants and, while dog friendly outdoors, we noticed a difference in informative service to those without Fido. Our waitress was nice and brought our little guy a bowl of water, but we did not receive the fish of the day, recommendations, and any special information that others sans fur baby received.

  Still, we would return due to the ocean view and access.

  Fit for a Foodie and Fido too!

  Delicious seafood and cocktails. Welcoming staff. Plenty of outdoor seating for pups. Bring a sweater- you will be in the shade at dinner time and breeze off of water made it fairly cool even on a warm day!

  Grumpy Hostess, Lackluster Food

  The young hostess was pretty rude when seating us - patio was completely empty and yet she grumbled about having given our table away because we were 10 minutes late for our reservation (to whom???). Our waiter gave us a rictus smile only when delivering the check at the end - otherwise got the impression he wasn’t happy that we asked him to bring the pups water. The other (woman) server who worked the tables that filled in eventually around us was much more friendly. Food was really not even worth mentioning - regretted having a meal there since we are in St. Augustine only for a few days.

  Great place! Great View! Fabulous with dogs!

  Super Dog Friendly! Outside Ambience is superb since you have a wonderful view of the ocean! Dogs loved it! The food is nor cheap but it is delicious! FANTASTIC PLACE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER

  Great yappy hour!

  We ate at the Reef twice during our trip to Vilano Beach. Our dog was enthusiastically accommodated both times and water was brought right out to him. Highly recommend for dog lovers. Great food and a great view!

  Great food and view

  Very nice staff accommodating our family of 5 and 3 small dogs. Can eat out on the patio. Great view of the beach and nice ocean breeze. They brought out two water bowls and were very nice to our pups. The food was very tasty. We had a burger, mahi tacos, salmon, north beach mahi and mahi sandwich. All was super tasty. And a spot to get out to beach and a foot washing area. Definitely recommend.

  Phenomenal views!

  Patio is right on the beachfront giving you a great view of the ocean. Food was delicious and the service was extremely fast for coming in at noon on a Sunday. Even offered a water bowl for the pup. Parking is free but may be a bit of a challenge on the weekends with the beach goers. Highly recommend!!

  Beautiful view and great food

  First off the view from here is amazing. Secindly they were so friendly and the waitresses immediately asked to pet my dog as soon as we entered. They then brought Bruno a bowl as soon as we were seated. I was there when they first opened so my food came out quickly and I was seated almost immediately. I ordered an appetizer and before I could finish it my main dish came out. The smoked duck piquillo peppers and the flounder were both fantastic!! I wish I could give more than 5 bones.

  Gorgeous Beachfront!

  Great experience. Typically we have had to “settle” when we choose dog-friendly. This was an upscale dining experience, with excellent service, and food.
  Hot Florida summer day, but the ocean breeze (and bowl of water) kept our Border Collie and Long Hair Chihuahua cool and comfortable while we enjoyed our wine and perfectly cooked seafood.
  We will be back!!!

  Fantastic view of the ocean & Great food!

  The restaurant is located right on the beach, we walked on the beach to get there. The balcony where we ate had a superb view of the ocean and all our 3 dogs were welcomed. Our waiter even brought them a water bowl with ice!
