  Great for dogs

  This place has great food, an amazing menu of beers (50 on tap) and welcome our dog inside. It was a stormy night so we worried about being able to find a good place where we could bring our dog inside. Not a problem here. I highly recommend and we’ll come back as we drive cross country twice a year.

  Excellent Place for a Beer with Your Pup

  Had one night in Sioux Falls. Decided to drive downtown to find Monk’s, based on the reviews here. Very glad we did! Great place. Huge beer selection on tap and lots of tasty, creative pizzas. Very dog-friendly, even the other customers. Was concerned about parking. Not a problem! Plenty of nearby parking. Sioux Falls has a fantastic downtown area. Absolutely worth checking out!

  Must Visit!

  we had one night in Sioux Falls with our pup and come here for drinks and eats. Big crowd of locals with dogs and very friendly, and amazingly dogs are welcome INSIDE in addition to outside! exhausting election of beers and creative pizzas and other food that were tasty

  Great Place to Stop!

  We are currently on a cross country road trip and decided to stop here for dinner with our dog. He had a great time getting attention from staff and patrons. There were loads of great drink options and the food was good too. They offered a bowl of water for our fur friend right away and were very accommodating. Dogs were welcome inside and out. Definitely worthwhile to visit if you're in the area and want a chill place to grab a bite to eat and something to drink.

  Dogs are welcome inside!!!

  We planned on keeping the dog on the patio but it was full and dogs are welcome inside which we didn't know. There was an outside festival going on across the street and the Monk was packed yet staff was very friendly and attentive to our dog. They even brought him water in a dog dish. I would recommend they put a non alcoholic beer and a dog food item on there menu as a money maker. There was quite a few dogs outside and think it would be a nice touch. Great pizza and huge selection of beer! Would highly recommend for dog and beer lovers.

  Nice options for inside and out!

  stopped here for quick bite to eat - intended to sit in the ample outdoor seating, server said Ash was welcome INSIDE! Nice to go into AC if it hot out. great casual food, tons of beer on tap. Ash took a snooze on the floor beside our table and soaked up all the ooohs and aaahs as people walked by. great place, lots of space between seating areas too. 10/10 dog friendly.

  Our New Favorite Place

  This place is #1 for favorite places we've ever brought our (fur) babies, and why we're already dreaming of a return to Sioux Falls. We visited first thing on a Friday afternoon for lunch and brews. We confirmed prior to bringing them in that they were welcome, and they responded that they actually love it when dogs come in! Our dogs were welcome to join us indoors or out. Since it was still cool outside, we chose a booth indoors and they were totally fine with the dogs sitting on the seat next to us. They were offered a fresh dish of water, and our waitress was very observant and respectful enough to sense that our dogs preferred to just chill rather than receive tons of extra attention. Beer selection was great, pizza was good too, and there's nothing better than being able to truly relax while traveling with the dogs.

  Dogs Allowed Inside!

  With the mugginess and mosquitos, there was no way I wanted to sit outside with our pup. So glad we found this place! They allowed us inside with our big bear and provided water and a treat. I am so happy we came here! (They have AC!)

  Pup Friendly Inside And Out!

  Awesome beer stop where you can relax with your Dog!! Patrons expect dogs to be inside and out so they love to pet Finn. People are always gracious about asking first and I appreciate that as he is in training. Visiting locations with people that are pet friendly is important!! Finn and I ate the BBQ pizza and a pint of an ale. He lounged on the couch and then we took off for the night!! We will be back soon to hang out on the patio!! Thanks for loving on our Fur babies both indoors and out!

  Amazing

  After a long travel day, all we wanted was to go somewhere (inside) with our pupperoni. This place hit a hole in one! They’ve got a great beer selection and a decent food menu, plus pupperoni’s are allowed inside AND out! Win win win!! If we’re ever in Sioux Falls area again, we’ll definitely make our way back here.

  Dogs welcome! (Inside and Out!)

  Dogs are totally welcome here inside the establishment and on the patio! The bartenders even had treats for my 80 lb Lab!

  Pups welcome

  Hannah loved the porch here. There are two sections and there were a few dogs on the other side. Staff were nice but the customers all made Hannah welcome with pets and love.
  Us bipeds enjoyed pizza and some great beers. You do have to order inside so, it requires 2 humans or to leave the pups outside solo.

  Dog-Friendly and Good Beer

  As a dog-owner, I have to give this place five stars. The bartender was kind enough to bring us a can opener and bowl so that we could feed our dog a can of dog food upon arrival. The patio is large, so our dog has enough room to sprawl out and not feel claustrophobic as is the case with many patios. We also didn't get the feeling that people were unhappy with our canine's presence; rather, he felt like a welcomed guest.

  For those without dogs, this is still a solid choice. A self-proclaimed dive bar, the beer list is extensive and includes saisons and ciders for non-beer lovers who want to take part in the offerings. Spirits and wine are also served. We ordered a Mediterranean pizza and were pleased. The thin crust was perfect. Despite a long drive, we spent hours hanging out and having beers with our dog that evening, a sure sign of a welcoming place with diverse offerings.
