Ponce Bistro has seven dog-friendly tables outside. The owner, Ron, hails from Brooklyn and points to his Puerto Rican roots and love of New York fare for the inspiration to his unique cuisine. From the bistro menu, the shrimp in peanut green curry with basil is recommended by locals, a West Coast version of curry with lots of fresh ginger, lemongrass, fennel root, and fresh basil served with shrimp, rice, and red peppers.
