New River Taphouse is a casual bar and eatery that serves up American-style delicious bar fare. Choose from menu options including appetizers, soups, salads, steak, chicken, pasta, seafood, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and more. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly outdoor tables (available around three separate fire pits) while you enjoy your meal. Start off with a cold brew and an order of the Cherry Bombs - cherry peppers stuffed with cream cheese and prosciutto, lightly battered and fried, and drizzled with a fire-roasted pepper sauce. Next, chow down on the Sourdough Parmesan Bacon Burger, topped with IPA candied bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles, served on parmesan sourdough. New River Taphouse is open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday through Saturday from 11am to 12am, and Sunday from 10am to 10pm. Visit Website

Charming back deck. Great food.
Very good food. Great atmosphere. My pup was pleased. Try the Cran Apple Spinach salad.

Lots of dogs, good food
We had a short wait for Sunday brunch (around 1pm just after the mask mandate was lifted). Asked for water for us and pupper and didn’t get water until the food came, at which point she did bring it for our dog but we still didn’t get any... just a craps shoot I suppose in terms of quality of service. Also, there were serval other dogs which was fine for us but could be a problem if you had a dog-aggressive dog...

amazing!
My Siberian Husky absolutely loved being out on the patio! Multiple staff members came to love on him and he adored every minute! Our waitress also made sure he had fresh water with ice.
On a human perspective, the food is amazing!
