      Outstanding food, excellent service, & dog friendly!!

      We arrived on a cold, rainy day, and the staff quickly lowered the plastic, weather panels. There are four outdoor picnic tables. They turned on the outdoor heater and brought our dog water. We loved the tomato soup and pimento cheese appetizer! While we didn’t order from it, they even have a doggie menu. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Highly recommend

      Eight Paws Up!

      We love the Little Switzerland Cafe! The food is delicious and the owners are true dog lovers. There are only 4 outdoor tables so it's best to arrive during off hours or be prepared to wait. Having said that, we only waiting 10 minutes on a busy Sunday afternoon. They've got a new menu JUST for DOGS! Our dogs, who normally don't get table scraps, were surprised and delighted with their fresh pieces of turkey and two huge mugs full of water. As far as they are concerned, it's the best restaurant they've ever been too - and our food was delicious as well. Fast and friendly service and sweet little area off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Moxie and Tonks give it eight paws up!

      Good Food & Staff

      our pup was able to sit on their patio with us. The patio was a bit small, and due to Covid there was only outdoor seating. The other patrons did not seem to mind, many coming up asking to pet our girl. The staff provided water for her while we ate our meal.

      Little Switzerland Big on Pets

      Stopped in Little Switzerland Cafe during our stay in Spruce Pine, NC. Staff were wonderful; brought a water bowl for our "boys", two American Cocker Spaniels. Before seating us, they had catered to a full size poodle. Equally kind to both dog owners and their "kids".
