Located in the heart of Rockford's River District, Octane is an internet cafe with a pet-friendly attitude. Visitors to Octane wanting to try out a dish from what has been voted ""Rockford's Most Unique Menu,"" can do so alongside their dog at one of its eight outdoor tables. Rockford employees claim that they ""love to have dogs join their owners."" Octane's menu includes salads, burritos, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, quesadillas, tacos, pasta, steaks, and seasonal dishes such as fresh seafood and the featured pork chop. Its menu also includes unique desserts such as Cereal Milk Brulee and Chocolate Nachos, and drinks such as coffees teas, Lemonade at Tiffany's, specialty sodas, craft beers, wine, and cocktails. Regulars rave about its burgers which have been named the best local burgers in the area. Octane is open Monday from 8am to 2pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 10pm, Friday from 8am until close and Saturday from 5pm until close."
