Parking was almost an issue but I managed to find a spot on the street pretty close. As I walked up to the bar the vibes were positive. There were people sitting outside the fence and others dancing to the blues band. This was Friday early evening. Most of the chairs were taken but there was a few open spots along a counter top near the walk way. Once I learned I needed to go inside to order food I worked my way to the back of Fork in the Alley. A waiter offered to watch my dog as I went inside. I ordered a salad and pizza. I came back back outside and the waiter and my dog was missing! KIDDING! I could see them from inside. Went to the outside bar and ordered a beer as my dog said hello to a few other dogs. I sat next to some friendly people, enjoyed the band and my food was brought out to me quickly. The salad was great, the pizza great - so says the guy from Jersey who is used to great pizza!

Great place for some drinks on a Saturday afternoon with our two dogs. Quiet.

We called upon arrival and it’s a good thing, because they do not allow dogs on the patio that is enclosed and warm. It was 30 degrees out. We left the dogs in the car.
I ordered a Reuben and it had no sauerkraut ! The fries were floppy.
Overall an over priced and undercooked disappointment ! - GaryMore than a year agoDog-Friendly, little else
We arrived dogless to scout out the situation early on a Sunday afternoon. There’s not a lot of parking other than on the street. The place was nice-looking enough. They didn’t seem terribly busy. The patio looks to be suitable for Fido.
We ordered the Welsh Rarebit as an appetiser and the Sunset Beach specialty pizza. We were very hungry and it took a bit of time for the food to arrive. Finally, our pizza arrived, but where was the appetiser??? We asked a nearby waiter about it and he said that’s the way things go around here. Ooookay. The menu description of the pizza sounded great, but, while it wasn’t terrible, it WAS disappointing. Finally, the Welsh Rarebit arrived. It’s basically grilled bread with a cheese sauce. Portions of the bread were quite cold, like it hadn’t completely thawed during the preparation, and the cheese sauce was certainly nothing special. It took quite a long time for the check to arrive, prolonging the agony.
There was a large group of men at a nearby table. One of these ‘gents’ was a bit of a blowhard who loved to talk about himself in a voice that was inappropriately loud. I can’t (and don’t) really fault the restaurant for that, but it added nothing positive to the experience.
I’d like to return, but this visit was quite a letdown. If I do, I’ll definitely try the sandwiches instead. The muffaletta sounded good and I almost ordered it. Wish I had!
