The River and Rail is a farm to table restaurant the celebrates Southern cuisine and local producers. They offer eight outdoor tables with dog-friendly seating. Because of their close collaboration with local farms, the menu is seasonal and includes several items that rotate in and out. You'll find options like oysters on the half shell, North Carolina catfish, pork chops, and seasonal vegetables. Brunch is served on Sundays from 5pm to 10pm with locally roasted coffee, farm eggs, and more. The River and Rail hosts a large selection of beer, wine, and cocktails with lots of house specials. The River and Rail is open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 2pm and dinner from 5pm to 10pm. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on the weekend.
