The Local Press
Score one of the two outdoor tables at the pet-friendly The Press. The press in the name is homage to the pressed sandwiches, or paninis, they serve. There are ten varieties of panini including the Orchard Turkey with bacon and Gala apples, and the vegetarian Islander with mushrooms and goat cheese. You can also order up cold sandwiches and a spicy Caribbean chowder called The Run Down. To end with something sweet, The Press makes milkshakes and floats with ice cream from local New England creamery, Annabelle's. Open Tuesday through Friday 11am to 6pm, and Saturday 11am to 4pm.
