Cable Car Cinema and Cafe has five dog-friendly tables outside. Attached to a movie theater that presents classic, foreign, and independent flicks, this cafe serves up hot and cold sandwiches, grilled cheeses, salads, and baked goods. You and Fido can enjoy the cranberry walnut chicken salad, served with mesclun greens, carrots, cucumbers, and balsamic dressing. For dessert, dig into a Danish pastry, a bagel, a croissant, or a cookie, and wash it down with a hot cup of tea, a smooth glass of wine, or a frothy pint of beer.
