Rocket to Venus

Rocket to Venus is an intentionally divey neighborhood bar and restaurant. Their menu and decor pay homage to the spirit of innovation of a group of local men who, in the 1920's, built a rocket with the intention of flying it to Venus. The restaurant offers seven dog-friendly tables so you and your pup can enjoy an out-of-this-world meal together. You'll find sandwiches, salads, and mains like their vegan pad thai or hickory smoked brisket. Their small plates are also popular, especially the brussel sprouts. The drink menu is composed of a wide range of signature cocktails, some of which are named for the men who endeavored to explore space in their steel and sail cloth rocket. They also serve a long list of beer, wine, whiskey, and spirits. Rocket to Venus is open for dinner Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 11:00pm.
