    At Joe Huber's Family Farm and Restaurant, you are welcome to pick up carry out and sit outside with your dog at one of their pet-friendly tables. Opened in 1983, the restaurant specializes in down home comfort food, like Huber Honey Ham and Fried Chicken and Livers. There are sandwiches and salads, or you can go for the house specialty, which is the family style Huber's Country Platter Dinner. Past visitors say not to miss the Chicken and Dumplings, which comes as a side with the platter or on its own. If you have a sweet tooth, save room for one of the homemade pies.       Great Place For The Dogs

      We came to the Winery and obviously they’re not allowed inside but they have a large grass area to sit and music! Several staff came over to pet the dogs while we were eating!

      Not dog friendly and rude about it

      I had heard around that Huber’s Orchard and Winery was dog friendly and had even found some posts online saying that it was. This morning when I called to make sure, I talked to a very rude lady that informed me, “This is an orchard and winery. They are allowed in the parking lot on a leash.”
      Im not saying they have to be dog friendly at all. I understand that places are not but when someone has the courtesy to call to find out rather than just assume, it’s not really good customer service to treat them badly. Now I’m not looking forward to this experience today, and it has nothing to do with having to leave my dog at home.
