Dave�s Dark Horse is a hole-in-the-wall bar in Starkville dishing out gyros, burgers, pub grub, wraps, salads, calzones, and both New York and Chicago-style pizzas. Fido is welcome to join on the small, but dog-friendly patio! Try the New York style Manhattan Project pizza, topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, jalapenos, onions, and spicy pizza sauce, or go deep-dish with the Second City (Chicago-style) Venetian, covered in grilled lamb, artichoke hearts, cucumber sauce and mozzarella cheese. If pizza isn�t calling your name, go for the Traditional Gyro with grilled lamb, feta cheese, saut�ed peppers and onions. Vegetarians should try any of the signature veggie pizzas, but the Master Yoda is tough to pass up: a seasoned pizza crust topped with fresh spinach, mozzarella, feta, and parmesan cheeses.
