Had a sirloin steak, very lean and delicious. The Caesar side salad was a delicious meal in itself so I could not finish my fettuccini. ... as much as I wanted to!! Only place to go here, great ambience, very dog friendly and everything was bowl licking worthy. Service was excellent and friendly. Thank you!!!

First, our waitress Shannon was amazing! Super professional, comfortable, attentive and friendly. The food was equally awesome. Very high quality redfish/shrimp plate, homemade hummus was a wonderful appetizer. This restaurant would thrive anywhere - really, really good. What a delightful find, just a couple of minutes off of Interstate 10.
Extremely welcoming to our blue heeler - they brought him a water bowl as soon as we were seated, without even being asked. A few other dogs there - no problems whatsoever.
Big lot of free public parking, right across the street, so no worries about the vehicle, either. Loved everything!

We stopped at Marion Street Bistro on our way from Tampa to NC in February. Cool day (mid 60s) & I anticipated being chilled eating outside. The front patio was enclosed with glass and there were space heaters and a mounted heater that made dining very pleasant! Our waitress was attentive and brought out water for our golden retriever puppy. The meals were excellent! I had the chicken cordon bleu with spinach & mashed potatoes - the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender! My husband had the meatloaf & my friend had grilled chicken. Service was top-notch and timely. Added bonus that the parking lot across the street had plenty of grassy areas for the pup and easily accessible garbage cans.

We had high hopes based on the reviews. We brought our sweet red heeler and she was attacked by another dog who was at a table right by the front door. The dog was a GSD or similar breed, not on a leash, and clearly was a local or associated with the owner. Our dog did not react in any way. This dog was super reactive and aggressive. I was screaming while the stupid owner tried to grab it. Nobody at the restaurant acknowledged or even cared that the incident happened. I am livid.

- SuzanneMay 23, 2020Great Food and Super Dog Friendly!
I’ve enjoyed Marion Streets delicious food on their patio many times with my dog. They’re very pet friendly and will bring a bowl of water for your dog. The food is superb! My favorite menu items are The Salmon Bowl, Power Bowl, Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread, Grilled Rueben, Meatloaf and Creme Brûlée. Their cocktails and beer are great as well! Lake Desoto is just one block behind Marion Street Bistro and Brewhouse and it’s a great place to walk your dog. We often go for a nice walk and then enjoy food and drinks at Marion Street Bistro afterwards.

Food was very good. My husband had the Cordon Bleu and I had mixed sides. Barkley was welcomed inside the restaurant with a bowl of water and lots of attention. We may stop back by on our way home.

WE were gladly accommodated at one of the many outside spaces. Food portion was large and delicious.
