      Great food! Dog menu too!

      The food was delicious! My husband and pup agree. Vegan options. Outdoor seating. On-site parking(free). Service was excellent and quick. Located close to but far away enough from mission to avoid crowds.

      Great Food, Friendly Staff

      I've eaten at El Maguey for decades and the homestyle Mexican food and service are always five stars. I have a seven month old puppy now and brought her for an early lunch with my parents and we had a great meal. We were told only two of the patio tables are available for parties with dogs. This is a great place for a Mexican meal with your pooch if you are in South OC.
      We went back a second time with the dog for brunch. The staff was so nice. They now have a dog menu of three pooch lunches - chicken and rice, beef and rice and tilapia and rice - so healthy. We ordered our pup chicken and rice and she found it delicious. We will be back many times for human and pup nourishment.
