  Great Food and Service

  I would give the Sandpiper 6 bones if I could. The waitress was fantastic. She immediately brought out a bowl of water for our dog. She also helped us decide what beers to have by bringing samplers. The steaks were perfect and the macadamia crusted halibut was out of this world. Very busy for a Wednesday evening but the service and food did not suffer. Would highly recommend.

  Absolutely the best beef

  The prime rib was spectacular, the fillet was perfectly tender, and the lamb was superb. This is absolutely a destination restaurant. They welcomed our two large dogs onto the patio, where they enjoyed watching the geese and magpies.

  Fabulous staff, great food and huge patio

  I had a raspberry chicken salad that was delicious while my dog watched people go by on the greenway. A lovely spot and the staff all made my dog feel like royalty.

  Just awesome

  The staff and the owner are dog lovers. The food is great and the patio seating has a lovely view of the river and canal. Ducks visit the patio and hang out nearby. Such a great place.

  Amazing

  This was one of the best meals we had on our trip. They brought Fez a bowl of ice water and everyone gave him lots of pets. The food was really good and the service unbelievable. We are right on the water. The rainbow trout was outstanding. Everyone loved their meal. Fez enjoyed our fish leftovers. We walked from the Bestwestern Driftwood. Great night.

  Super duper service

  This restaurant was adjacent to our motel. They LOVE dogs. Excellent food under a roof outdoors. The food was excellent and the location along the river is very pretty. Very highly recommended. And, they brought a dish of ice water for the pooches.

  Pawsitive!

  Great experience! The staff was so excited to see our pup. They all came out to say hello and brought us a big water bowl right away. Location is great, right next to the water. Only conflict was when the ducks came onto the deck- but our pup scared them away and everyone was grateful. Hours on the door don’t match what they actually are, so don’t be afraid to ask if they’re open. You have to walk your dog through inside area to get to deck, which was only weird for us because everywhere else we’ve been made us walk outside. Really great experience!
