  Not good location on Easter Sunday

  I called ahead to confirm dogs are still allowed, girl who answered the phone wasn’t sure so checked with manager and said only service dogs inside but tables are available outside the bar for people with dogs. so we went, upon arrival I went through front doors to get checked in while the rest of my party and Bo (my dog) waited outside near the bar area entrance- I told hostess I wanted outside seating because I had my dog, she said sure and said right through the bar area. so I walked through the restaurant and bar area to get seated and reunite with my party, bar tender nodded and smiled . We were seated, with no menus or silverware. So i waited, and I finally went inside the bar area and asked the bartender behind the bar if he would be serving us. and he states, I didn’t know anyone was out there. but he followed me out to take our drink order.. when a lady in a black dress came out and politely asked if Bo was service dog. and I told her no, and explained I had called ahead to be sure it was ok. she seemed quite concerned and went in to find a manager. came back few moments later and said it was ok. so we got the bar tender back out for our drink order and eventually ordered lunch… Bo is 160lbs. so he’s a very laid back gentle giant and he took up almost entire walking area, so we made sure to keep him close by but the area was only about three foot wide so really not a good location for lunch with big dog.
