The Islander located in Mercer Island, WA is a North West Americana restaurant that is pet-friendly. Your dog can join you at any of their seven outdoor tables. The Islander features micro-brews and a variety of hard-to-get classic European-style beers and imports on tap, a full bar, and specialty drinks. The Islander serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are there for breakfast try their Islander Garden Omelet with fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, green onions and bell peppers or the California Benedict with grilled English muffin halves, avocado slices, fresh spinach, tomato slices and two poaches eggs topped with hollandaise sauce. There for lunch or dinner, order the Chili Lime Shrimp Capri with large prawns, sauteed in vermouth, tomato, garlic and chili lime sauce, served with sliced sourdough. They also have a wide selection of entree salads like the Light Mediterranean with romaine, chickpeas, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and feta cheese with a light yogurt dressing and pita bread. The Islander is open Monday through Thursday 9am to 11pm; Friday and Saturday 8am to 12pm; Sunday 8am to 10pm.
