Rita's on the River
This 500-seat Mexican restaurant on the San Antonio Riverwalk makes half of its tables open to dogs. You can dine with your pup under covered patios or in the outdoor air-conditioned courtyard with umbrella tables. While you sip on a margarita, your dog can have something from the dog menu that includes dog-friendly ice cream, white rice with zucchini and carrots, and a free dog water slushy. They also host regular Yappy Hours to benefit local rescues.

Took my two medium size pups here and they were able to wait in the shade til our table was ready. Staff brought them ice cold water and everybody around us was welcoming to our four legged table mates. Food and drinks were spectacular as well!
