Called ahead to make sure patio was open. We were told yes and how to get around back to enter. Had to search for server (in back bar which smelled horrible). Sat for a good 15 minutes before bartender came out with shots for a rowdy group that were loud and dropping F bombs the whole time. They were surprised by the shots which leads me to believe there were being given away. Hate that for the owners. Got up and left before anyone came over to us. Went to great Irish pub down the road.

Our waiter, Gabe was fantastic. He would have given Emma lots of loving if he could, restaurant policy prevents it. He brought a bowl of water for our Emma. She dined on a plain burger while my husband had the French dip burger with au jus, I had the broccoli and Parmesan pasta with shrimp. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our meals. FYI hygiene protocol for the staff and pets restrict the staff from touching your pet and they're pet policy restricts your pet from eating off of their dishes. We cut up Emma's burger with my utensils and hand fed her. It was great being able to go out to dinner with our girl.

We tried to eat here with our English cocker. We went inside and asked if dogs were allowed, the hostess said we had to find the door that said downstairs… that was it. We walked around the outside looking for any sign. We found the outdoor patio in the alley with the gate lazily swung open. We sat outside and waited for 10 mins or so before I walked into the downstairs bar… no one acknowledged that we were there. I went back upstairs… no one acknowledged we were there. After failing to attract any attention and my family sitting on the “patio” for awhile and attracting no attention we left. No one there was any wiser that they had lost business. The restaurant is decent if memory serves well.

My boyfriend and I brought our 50# dog here at the mid-point of a road trip home from southern Virginia. The spot was empty at the time (which seems secondary to its location downtown on a Sunday). The back patio area is a small oasis in its surroundings. We were hoping to watch football, but unfortunately there are no TVs out there. The waitress was lovely to bring our girl both water and a cup of beef broth.
