- BethFeb 1, 2024Nice place to see the sunset
We didn’t eat, just grabbed a couple of beers and sat out in the grass. There are tables, just no table service. We walked over from the rental house, there is a nice paved walkway that runs parallel to the road, and enjoyed watching the kiteboarding with our pups.

Nice, covered, dining area which was perfect on the rainy day we had. Need two people to make this work, one to order food/beer and the other to stay on the covered deck with your dog. No wait service. Food and beer were good. Beautiful views and Kitesurfing watching. Will go back.
- ElisabethOct 16, 2021Great views
Pls read the other reviews and understand you need at least two people to successfully take a dog here. One grabs a table outside with the dog. The other goes in and orders your food. The staff brings water bowls for the pups. Food is good. Views are great! The patio is very busy (diners, kite boarders, etc) and parking is always tight. It’s worth it, but know that going in so you’re prepared.
- DebbieJul 18, 2021Great sunset and meal (2 people recommend)
We loved it but because you have to order inside, this would be tricky on your own if your dog minds being left. The view of the bay activity was fantastic and we got a super sunset. The person who brought our food someone would come around for another drink order but it was pretty busy and no one did. Not a big deal for us to go back inside. Our dog had a great shady spot under the table and was really happy with a little grilled shrimp and steak.
- VanessaJun 4, 2021Worst experience!
I never review places but the fact that this place had 5 bones is insane to me. literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with my dog. I went here by myself with my dog, they make you stand in line to get to the door where they want you to go inside to order and pay for your food and they will then bring it out to you. Well I couldn’t bring my dog inside to order obviously so I asked if I could order and just give her my card or even cash and they wouldn’t. The girl said “can’t you just ask one of these people to hold your dog” umm no I don’t know them... such a horrible experience!!!
- MindyJun 3, 2021Great location and delicious food
We went early hoping to avoid a wait and found an outdoor table where we could sit with the pupper and watch the kite surfing. Food was incredible and the staff were all very friendly. Tip: when you arrive, find a table then send someone inside to place your order. The staff will wait on you (refills, etc) only after you have ordered inside and have a number at your table.

- EdAug 21, 2020Good Food And Views!
enjoyed a really good meal here and the views of the sound were awesome! Outdoor seating for you and your pup! Staff very friendly and attentive!
- KeithJun 24, 2020Even With Restrictions You Should Visit
I can’t wait until there aren’t any restrictions and we can really see what this place is all about. Doggos are still welcome and greeted with a bowl of water. There were multiple pups there during our visit and you’re able to sit on the covered or open patio. The food was great as well, no complaints. Will be back again!
- MarshaMore than a year agoGreat View and Food, Assistance Required
Outdoor seating available at picnic tables on the sound. We watched as athletes and fishermen came in off of the water at the end of the day. Our dogs were not fans of the air hissing from the kites, but loved the attention given by people of all ages. Open seating at picnic tables. Live music was great, but a bit too loud for our dogs (and for our son with autism). Customers must walk inside to get a menu and to place an order, so make sure to have someone who can wait with the pups outside. Some outdoor seating is covered, while the remainder is open to the elements. Tables are close together, which left me concerned that other customers could get annoyed by the constant presence of fluffy wagging tails brushing against their legs. We watched a beautiful sunset while drinking craft beer, eating fresh seafood, and slipping the occasional sample of N.C. BBQ to the dogs.
- DeanMore than a year agoLots of Activity and Large Dog Friendly Patio
We could see Kite surfing off in the distance. I looked on the app and it said Watermens was dog friendly. This is an action packed place that let’s you bring your dog. The food was excellent and watching the sun set with the kites surfers in the background made for the end of an awesome day.
One thing you need to know is you have to go inside to order your food. The serves take care of you after you order.
