  Worst restaurant experience ever (less than one bone)

  Quoted 15 min max wait time. We waited 1.5 hours in the rain as tables kept clearing and being sat by ‘reservations’ from inside. That’s the only reason we waited because we kept thinking we’d be be next. No one acknowledged our dog. Our drinks never came out once we were finally at a table. Food was subpar for price. We waited so long for a table outside that it was too late to try a different restaurant inside. We were only in Ithaca for one night so the fact that they promised a 10 -15 min wait and it was in fact 1.5 hours really ruined our night in Ithaca. Waitress and manager never acknowledged our wait or the lack of service or hospitality. I will never go there again or bring our precious dog. I will make it my mission to tell everyone who ever mentions Ithaca to never go to this restaurant. Terrible terrible service. A disgrace to Marriott really.

  Good food; indifferent service

  This restaurant is a little more pricey than nearby eateries as it's attached to the Marriott Hotel, but the food and wine list are good. Dogs are welcome on the covered patio and he got a bowl of water straight away. But the servers neglect the patio in favour of the main restaurant inside, and if someone wants to watch sport on the outside TV it gets put on at full volume and the patio is no longer a pleasant place to have a meal.

  Dog Friendly & GREAT Food!

  I love Monks! I can always bring my dog there. The restaurant is dog friendly and the staff love dogs. They always bring us out a water bowl.

  The food has been great too! Delicious/fun dishes of all types and sizes. Highly Recommend!

  Right Downtown on the Commons and Dog friendly

  Monks Patio is a great place to bring your 4 legged friends! They are located right downtown on the Ithaca Commons. While dogs are always allowed on the Patio and they will provide treats and water bowls, Sundays are a great day to bring your pooch. Every Sunday from 11:00AM- 10:00PM you'll get half off Margaritas, Mojitos, and Mimosas when you bring your dog!
