      Relaxing afternoon

      Great spot to stop and get a flight of wine or a glass or bottle. Outdoor patio is dog friendly and lots of people had their dogs.

      Horrible experience

      Terrible experience...we booked reservation a year in advance for 28 people. Five days before the event this manager called and she told us that 20 is all that could be accommodated and whoever told us otherwise was wrong.
      We had to cancel some of the invites for our wedding party. Then the tables we were seated at were for 24 seats.
      Then the day of the event this manager was notified that our group got split up and would be a few minutes apart but some are arriving on time. The manager called us about 20 minutes past the reservation time and stated she would cancel our reservation if all of us were not present in 15 minutes. Then proceeded to tell us about her management issues.
      We made the event reservation and spent over $1,000.00; however, this manager may need to consider a different career path. She was rude, obnoxious, abrasive and displayed the worst customer service ever witnessed.
      Would NEVER recommend anyone to this Venue.

      The establishment attempted to force their emergency and make it our dilemma!

      A must stop

      We had a great time enjoying wine, listening to music with Norm (our Border Collie Husky mix). He enjoyed meeting people and other dogs too.

      Great location and view

      What a gem in the heart of Chimney Rock! Burntshirt has a wonderfully large outdoor seating area with lots of room for dogs. The interior and building design are gorgeous. The staff is also quite dog friendly in my experience. Menu is somewhat limited but the quality excellent. You have the array of wines to fall back on if you're in the mood for a drink. Sip and enjoy the Chimney Rock Gorge!
