Hayward’s Pit BBQ, located in Shawnee, KS, is a dog friendly eatery where friendly pooches are served a clean bowl of ice cold water and allowed on both the deck and patio. This is the oldest BBQ restaurant in Johnson County Kansas. Their menu offers "Kansas City’s Best Burnt Ends, Period," ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Krizman’s sausage, chicken and turkey. All of their meats are “old school” smoked to perfection on a rotisserie smoker, fueled only with hickory wood and fire. They offer many sides, 16 tap beers, full bar, craft cocktails and desserts to accompany your meal.
