  Best place

  There’s a bunch of dog friendly restaurants in Key West but somehow we ended up at Moon Dog. Seriously, it was one of the best meals we’ve had in the Florida Keys. Food was delicious, service was wonderful and very dog friendly. Excited to add it to places we’ll return to next time we’re in town.

  Great Service & Food

  We had a great experience today at Moondog Cafe for Breakfast. Short wait time, Excellent service from Andrea & Cara. They are dog friendly and were so engaging with my husband and I and our dog. We extremely appreciate amazing service that includes our dog as part of our dining experience. The food was so delicious too. The best breakfast we had our entire trip. Thank you Andrea & Cara.

  Not that friendly

  Went there with my yorkie and chihuahua. The chi jumped in my lap was in the process of putting him back on the floor and I believe the manager charged right at me yelling at me to put my dog down. He could have politely told me instead of yelling at me. I live in Florida and know dogs can’t sit at the table. We left.

  Awesome lunch spot

  They are super busy, but our server brought our pup water immediately before she even took our order. Lunch was delicious and service was fantastic. Highly recommend.

  We took our beagle to Moondog for breakfast. The food was delicious and the place is super dog friendly.

  Great food and service

  We had a delicious lunch at the Moondog Cafe with our little dog Mollie. She sat right up at the table with us. After lunch we bought some home made dog treats from the bakery. Mollie loved them! Highly recommend this restaurant. Very dog friendly!

  Dog friendly & special dietary needs

  We dined on 4/6/21 with 4 people and 3 dogs (17lbs, 40lbs and 45 lbs) on the front patio. Seating is somewhat tight but doable. We have celiac family members and the menu accommodated vegan and gluten-free. The location is close to Duval St. We had garlic shrimp tacos, GF pizzas and mahi-mahi tacos. The sangrias were unique and delicious! be sure to check out the bakery items on the way out, which also include GF options!
