    Fido is welcome to join you at an outdoor, pet-friendly table at The Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL. They serve options like fried pickles, seafood entrees, burgers, wings and more. Not only can you enjoy great food, the restaurant also features beach access, a courtyard with a ton-of-fun sand pile, games, outdoor stages for live music and more.       Service Animals Only On Covered Porch

      Unfortunately, we got to the restaurant and were informed that the covered porch is for service animals only. Luckily, we were in our camper and were still able to be seated with June in the camper.
      If you want to bring your pooch, you can order food to-go at the bar and take it out to the picnic tables.

      Great experience!

      They were so sweet to my Daisy girl! They brought her a bowl of water as soon as we were seated!! Service was wonderful and the food even better!! Bring your appetite those burgers are no joke!! Yummy and Ginormous!!

      Skip this one!

      We were escorted outside with our fur babies. There is no table service out there. We had to go in and order our food and drinks then take them outside. Zero waitstaff out there. When I went back inside to pay, the bartender had the audacity to ask if needed change. Again, we didn't have ANY service out there. Total outcasted at a "pet friendly" place.

      Fun Fun Fun

      The food was great and the entertainment was out of this world! Our dog was welcomed with a bowl of water.The seating was under cover. We will be back!

      Gorgeous view!

      The porch is at the beach and gorgeous! Good food and service, definitely dog friendly.

      Great food for good pet lovers

      we stopped to eat a late lunch. we were told if we had a well behaved pet that he could sit with us on the porch. we do and we did. staff welcomed us and gave a little water bowl. the food was really good, perhaps the best we had while visiting the area. the decor was super cute and fun. stopping here for lunch turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. also, there is a cache in the parking lot.
