SCAT Airlines

During the reservation, the traveler must provide information on the species, quantity, and weight of the animal or bird you travels with. The passenger is responsible for all the necessary documents to guarantee the departure and entry of his/her pet, both to the city of origin and destination of his/her trip. The passenger is also responsible for the documents required for transit through a specific country, if necessary.

Unfortunately, SCAT Airlines does not allow pets to fly in the cabin.

Animals can travel as checked baggage with SCAT Airlines as long as the pet and carrier does not exceed 110 lbs (50 kg). Only 1 pet is permitted to travel in each carrier. The fee for this varies depending on the weight of your pet and carrier. Pets under 17 lbs (8 kg) will be charged 5,000 KZT on domestic flights and $40 on international flights; pets under 30 lbs (14 kg) will be charged 10,000 KZT on domestic flights and $70 on international flights; pets under 50 lbs (23 kg) will be charged 12,500 KZT on domestic flights and $115 on international flights; pets under 70 lbs (32 kg) will be charged 15,000 KZT on domestic flights and $160 on international flights; and pets under 110 lbs (50 kg) will be charged 25,000 KZT on domestic flights and $250 on international flights.

For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be strong, clean and well-ventilated on at least 3 sides. Additionally, carriers must have handles, should be watertight, and covered in an absorbent material.

Livestock, wild animals, guinea pigs, rodents, bees, and fish are not allowed to travel with SCAT Airlines. Pet owners should feed animals at least 2 hours before travel time. Bird cages need to be covered in a sheet during travel. No pets are allowed into the UAE. Antagonistic pets cannot be carried in the same aircraft cargo hold.
