Entry Requirements
Complete the following requirements to travel to Barbados with your pet:
- Passengers traveling with pets must obtain both an Import and Official Export Health Certificate 1 to travel to Barbados.
- Import permits are valid for 6 months. Official Export Health Certificate 1 must be stamped by the official veterinary service of your country of origin.
- Contact Veterinary Services at (246) 535-0221 or via email at vetservices@agriculture.gov.bb to request forms.
- All cats and dogs entering Barbados must be permanently identified with a microchip and must be vaccinated against rabies after microchip implantation.
- Pets must clear customs and veterinary checks upon arrival and passengers must employ the services of a custom broker to facilitate customs clearance.
Quarantine Information
Pets who meet above requirements will not be quarantined upon arrival in Barbados.
