Entry Requirements
Complete the following entry requirements to travel to Panama with your pet:
- Obtain a health certificate in the country of origin. If you're traveling from the U.S., the certificate must be certified by an official U.S.D.A. Veterinary and the pet's veterinarian.
- Once completed, send the form in an envelope marked "TRAVELING WITH PET" to the Consulate of Panama at above address for authorization. The fee for this service is $30, payable by money order made out to the Consulate of Panama.
- You will also need to send copies of your passport, an exportation certificate and a vaccination record.
Quarantine Information
Pets must be quarantined for 40 days upon arrival in Panama. However, you can request a home quarantine option for $130 to be paid in cash at Tocumen Airport. The filled out request must be emailed to camzoonosis@gmail.com and cam@minsa.gob.pa 3 to 5 days before travel to Panama.
