We had a fun afternoon exploring the Amish House and Farm. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, there was so much to see!! Lots of animals and exhibits to enjoy. It was very hot while we were there so we had Jasper in his stroller and it was very accessible. We also did the bus tour and we really enjoyed it. We learned all about Amish life and culture and made two stops, one at Bird in Hand bakery for some delicious pretzels, and one at a quilt shop. Our driver, Tim, was amazing, gave us lots of information and absolutely loved Jasper!

We had a great time going for a family buggy ride. We opted for the 4.5 mile ride which was a little under an hour. We were the only ones on the ride which was so nice as we all, our dog included, prefer doing things on our own. Our driver, David was very nice and enjoyed having Jasper on the ride with his. Jasper enjoyed looking at the beautiful scenery and even got so comfortable he layed down for a rest.

We came here as a special getaway for our dog Jasper's 5th birthday. We travel everywhere with him, but Paw House truly caters to dogs. It was so nice being surrounded by dog people and knowing we didn't have to worry about Jasper. We stayed in Spot and had an enclosed porch with a swing which was wonderful, it was so relaxing and Jasper loved spending time outside. The on-site dog park was great and Jasper had fun making friends with the other dogs. We also enjoyed walking around exploring the grounds. Breakfast was delicious and so filling. We didn't need lunch any of the days we were there! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

We came here on our first night in town. It was a little chilly, but we still had a great time. The tacos were absolutely delicious and service was quick. They served us, even though they said they weren't serving outside, I get they were understaffed but I would have done take out if it was too much, I wanted to dine in because I heard they take a picture of your dog in a Sombrero but that didn't happen so that was disappointing. Would definitely eat here again, but probably for take out

We stopped here to get a quick snack one afternoon. My husband wanted a maple cream which he said was delicious, and Jasper got some doggy ice cream with peanut butter sauce which he loved!! We got an order of fries to split and it was so good we came back the next day for more!

We had a wonderful time visiting Sugarbush Farms! We changed the day of our visit due to heavy rains and we were glad we did. The grounds were still wet and a little muddy but very manageable. The longer trail was closed, maybe for flooding, so we only did the short trail. The views from the farm were gorgeous and we enjoyed taking turns tasting the yummy cheese. Overall we enjoyed our visit and so did our dog Jasper!

We came here for an early lunch after spending the morning at the beach. Even though it was November it was about 80 degrees so I was glad the outdoor seating was covered with fans. The food was delicious, my husband and I both got seasonal specials, they were so good and enough for two meals. All the staff was very welcoming to Jasper, they all came to see him and they asked if they could take his picture. Will definitely come back when we visit again.

While we were walking the Riverwalk our dog Jasper kept pulling towards this restaurant. My husband thought it was cool that it was a floating restaurant and when we discovered it's dog friendly we decided to try. We sat right on the water and had an amazing view! The food was delicious and service was quick and friendly. Jasper loved sitting and looking at the water.

We had a great time walking around the arboretum. The pond was fun and Jasper enjoyed looking at the fish. It was November so many of the plants were not in bloom, but the grounds were still beautiful. It is small, but a great way to spend an hour or so

We had a great time at the museum of the bizarre. It is only $3 admission and dogs are free. The museum is kind of small but they still have lots of cool exhibits. There was a man doing a sword swallowing demonstration while we were there as well. When we got there they told us only the museum was dog friendly, not the mirror maze, so I guess the policy must have changes since past reviews. It was fine for us as we were only planning on doing the museum anyway. It was a great way to spend some time and see lots of cool, bizarre things!

We had a great time taking Jasper into the French Quarter. We planned our entire trip to try and be in the city during quieter times, as we are not city people and all of us, our dog Jasper included, are introverts. Jasper had fun walking around and seeing the sights. We had him in the stroller the entire time which was helpful because it was hot and it was noisy. If your dog has difficulty with loud noises this might not be the best place to take your dog. Since Jasper was in the stroller we were able to take him into all the stores. We relaxed on the benches outside of Jackson Square and had a wonderful day!
My husband and I went here with our dog Jasper while staying in Gatlinburg. It was a nice stop to get out of the heat, as it was very hot during our stay. There are so many different salt and pepper shakers on display and they are all organized into different groups. Admission is $3 and it goes towards the purchase of a salt and pepper shaker. Many of the ones you can but are on display. The staff was so welcoming to our dog and they were very accommodating, our dog had to go potty while we were there and they let us leave and come back without a problem. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!

I love little shopping villages like this so I was so excited to find one in Gatlinburg! We stayed right in town so we walked to the Village often. We found most of the stores to be dog friendly, although we did have our dog in a stroller. The fountain and areas outside are beautiful, a fun place to shop and relax.

The Skypark was so much fun!! I was so excited to find out we could take Jasper here with us. I was definitely more nervous on the lift than Jasper, he sat so still and enjoyed the view. It may be difficult though if you have a dog that doesn't sit still as the lift is pretty open, there's only a bar in the front. There is so much to do once you get to the top. We started with the bridge, Jasper started off fine, but then got scared when the bridge was moving, it wasn't an issue for us because he's small and we just carried him. We did the trail and the tower as well and Jasper had a blast exploring! It was very hot when we went, even though we went right at opening so we spent some time in the sky center cooling off. It was great that we were able to take him inside as I was worried about him in the heat. We would have stayed much longer if it was cooler, but we all had a great time exploring the Sky Park.

This was a fun place to stop, especially since it was so hot out! All the stores were welcoming, except a few which were posted in the window not to bring your dog in. The only thing to note is that there are many levels to the mall, some floors only had a few stores on them. We had Jasper in his stroller so we had to keep taking the elevator, not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

We stayed in Gatlinburg but decided to go into Pigeon Forge to check out some of the dog friendly stores after dinner. We had fun looking at all the stuff, but we were disappointed to find out that the bears close much much earlier than the store.

This store was great! They had lots of wonderful souvenirs and decor for sale inside. They had lots of big foot stuff which made my husband very happy! The best part is the completely free selfie park outside. There are so many different statues and backdrops to take pictures by. Although there were lots of people in the store, we were the only ones outside so we were able to take our time and get lots of great pictures!

We stopped here while walking through town to try some wine. We did the 3 free wines and they were delicious, we bought a few bottles and can't wait to enjoy them. Jasper was welcomed and was able to stay with us during the tasting.

My husband and I recently visited New Orleans, despite the fact that we are NOT city people. I was so happy to find city park because it was a nice break from the bust city. We went in July, so it was hot, buy we visited the park in the evening and all the trees provided lots of shade it was actually quite comfortable for all of us, my dog included. We loved being able to get a frozen Cafe au lait, and go for a nice family walk. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

This store is great! It's almost part store, part museum. There's lots of facts and information about Voodoo. I really wanted an authentic Voodoo doll and they had so many to pick. There so many cool things to look at. Jasper loved exploring and learning about Voodoo.

We came here on a hot day after visiting the Sky Park. It was very cool, which was nice on such a hot day. Our dog was immediately welcomed and was able to stay with us the entire time. It was $5 for a tasting, and you got to try about 13 different flavors. The tasting menu is preset, but changes everyday. We didn't have a drink on the patio, but it looked very nice and they told us they had lots of fun cocktails there as well.

We all had a blast river tubing! The water level was very low when we went so my husband and I did have to get out and walk a few times, but Jasper stayed in tube. I was sure that Jasper would not want to stay in his tube, but he loved it! He was so relaxed he even fell asleep at one point! Dogs are given their own tube with a bottom and you tether them to your tube, you do have to bring your own life jacket. It was a hot day, but it didn't bother Jasper as we just dipped him in the river if he seemed to be getting hot. It is a long trip, the length depends on the water level, since it was so low it took us about 3 1/2 hours to tube the entire river. We would definitely recommend this activity, especially to cool off on hot days!

We took our dog, Jasper, here to celebrate his 4th birthday. We picked the open air car and purchased the tickets in advance. Although it was May, it was a rainy cold day. We decided to stay in the open air car and we had the whole thing to ourselves! They did offer to move us inside if we got too cold or wet but we were fine. The views were beautiful and it was such a fun experience for Jasper. He even got his own ticket!!

We were excited to find this BBQ joint in Boothbay as my husband and I are not big seafood people. They had a nice variety of meats, we each got a tray and were able to pick a meat and two sides. I had the pork and my husband got the brisket, both were delicious. You get a choice of sauces, we got the maple bourbon, it was great! The restaurant is also connected to the Footbridge Brewery so there is a variety of local beers to have. I don't drink beer, but my husband tried one of the blueberry beers and said it was good. I only wish there was more variety with the sides, some fries or veggies would be nice options.

We are not huge ice cream people, but decided to treat ourselves since we were on vacation. There was lots of different flavors and more than the standard you can get anywhere. I got he coconut chocolate chip and my husband got the ginger graham cracker, both were delicious! Please note that dogs are not actually allowed inside of the ice cream store, only outside at the tables. Not a huge deal as there were two of us, but may be useful for others.

We ate here on our first night in Boothbay. Everyone was very friendly and we were surprised to discover that dogs are welcome both inside and out! We decided to sit outside to enjoy the view. We were brought a bowl of water right away. The food was great and very reasonably priced.

I was so excited to discover a boat ride that I could take my dog Jasper on! After looking at all the different options I decided on one of the 2 hour lighthouse tours, since it would be Jasper's first boat ride. Jasper was happily welcomed, as were the several other dogs on the boat. There are plenty of seats, and lots of room, Jasper spent most of the time sleeping on the floor. It was very foggy during our tour so it was difficult to see, but we all had a great time anyway. Something to consider, dogs are welcome on the boat but you have to purchase a ticket for them, it is $20, which is not that much cheaper than an adult ticket so it is kind of steep, but for us it was worth it to have our baby with us.

I was so excited when I discovered the railroad museum is dog friendly! Jasper had a great time walking around and exploring everything. Dogs are allowed everywhere on the property, including the train and all the buildings. It was a pretty warm day and the woman at the ticket counter even took the time to get a cold bowl of water for Jasper.

We had a great time hiking Oven's Mouth with our dog Jasper. There are two parts to this hike, the east and the west and they have different parking lots, although you can do both trails as they are connected by a bridge. We did the east side as it was described as being less strenuous and Jasper tends to get tired easily when we are traveling. The loop had a few inclines but nothing serious, and there were lots of spots to stop and enjoy the view. We had a great time hiking and looking out at the water.
We stopped at this lighthouse on our way up to Boothbay Harbor. It was a little bit off the highway, but easy to find with the GPS. It is down a private road and only accessible during the day. The parking lot is small but there was only one other car when we arrived. There is a small path to the boardwalk that leads to the lighthouse. Although this lighthouse is very small we had a great time exploring. It was a nice stop on our long drive.

We stopped at Portland Light on our way home to break up the drive. The park is much bigger than I thought and things are spread out. You have to pay for parking which I didn't realize before coming, machines take credit card only. The lighthouse was pretty but the entire park was extremely crowded. We came on a Friday around 11, so I didn't expect that many people. It was difficult to really enjoy the lighthouse because it was so crowded and noisy. We took a portion of the cliff walk which was nice and gave us some great views. If you and your dog like a more quiet experience, like we do, this may not be the best spot.

This was one of the highlights of our trip!! We took the south ride, as we wanted the break in between. You ride for about 40 minutes, take a half hour break, then ride back. The entire staff was very welcoming to our dog, and were excited to see him. I brought a blanket as dogs have to sit on the floor of the bike and it is black metal grate, it was a warm day so I'm sure it was hot, plus my dog is a diva and likes to be comfortable. The blanket was comfortable as he was able to sit and lay down during the trip. The noise wasn't too much and he didn't seem to feel the vibration at all. It was a little hot, but we had a cooling bandanna and water available. The break area was really nice, you get to sit on chairs overlooking the water. I only wish there was some shade as it was a pretty hot day and I was hoping my dog could cool off a bit before the return journey. Overall it was defiantly worth it to bring our dog, just make sure to prepare for the weather and bring something for your dog to sit on and be comfortable.

We came here with our dog while visiting Mystic. It was our first time taking our dog to a restaurant and it was such a great experience. They gave us a nice shady table with a breeze, it was a very hot day, and brought us out a large bowl of water, one of the staff even gave him some carrots which he loved. Very friendly, definitely would go back!

Very dog friendly village. Lots of great places to walk and dog bowls all around. Some stores are dog friendly, most have signs posted specifying whether they allow dogs or not which was very helpful. Most of the restaurants in the village have outdoor patios which are also dog friendly

My husband and I have always visited Mystic so we were so excited to find out we could take our dog! Dogs are allowed on the grounds only, they can't go in any buildings or on any of the big boats. However, you can rent a small boat and take your dog for a ride. We took the peddle boat which was perfect for the two of us and our small pup. They have water bowls all around the grounds as well. We went on a very hot day so we didn't stay long as there was no place to cool down, but you are able to come back for free on the same day so we brought our dog home to cool off and returned for a few more hours. A fun day for all!
