    Great Spot for Fido

The Amish Farm and House is a great spot to bring your dog. Multiple tour options. Great place to learn about farm life. Dogs allowed indoors and out.

    Fall festivities

A great place for dog friendly fall festivities and food, just don’t mind the giant target store right next door 😂

    Awesome experience together with dog

We had an exceptionally great experience with our dog at this awesome place! Well behaved dogs are accepted everywhere (bus tour, farm, gift shop, house, etc) AND we (this includes our dog) had a wonderful time! We learned so much about the Amish during the bus tour and our visit at the farm and house! We can only recommend everything, especially if you bring your dog. In addition: It is so very helpful when you can bring your dog along! We were really interested in visiting this place and going on the bus tour, but if our dog would not have been allowed to come along we would not have gone. So, it is a win for this place and for us, since we had such an awesome, enriching experience! Thank you!

    Amazing!!

As soon as you walk up to this location, you immediately see a sign that says “pets are welcome here” which is wonderful! Dogs must be on a leash or carrier but everyone is soooo nice and attentive. My dog really enjoyed seeing all the animals and walking through the many paths (even the corn maze). It’s so beautiful there! I highly recommend it.

    Worth the trip!

The farm itself is super pet friendly! My dog loved all the smells and being able to roll in all the good spots! The bus tour is informative - however I DO NOT recommend for big dogs! My girl is 65lb and it was VERY uncomfortable for both of us. The floor of the bus is very slippery for her paws and she was sliding everywhere, it’s also a very tight fit on the bus itself so save yourself the stress if you have a big dog and only do the farm tour!

    Pups & the Amish

Rigby was welcomed at the Amish house & Farm - from the ladies at the front desk that ohhed & Ahhed over him! to the house Tour Guide - who commented on how well behaved he was. Rigby rode on the bus & we made 2 15 minute stops at Amish Farms. He enjoyed his trip & he slept like a baby when we returned to the hotel room that night.

    Great Pet Friendly Bus Tour!!!

Awesome place to include not only our puppy but also our family. The Amish Farm and House in Lancaster, PA is simply amazing. It is a 6 hour drive from Northeast Ohio but well worth it. There is zero restrictions to my puppy. He was allowed everywhere. To include the house tour and the bus tour. The bus tour takes you to other amish farms and shops... they even let you shop around. We took the 90 minute tour and well worth every penny! Please remember pets are welcome everywhere... even on the Amish bus tour. If you're curious our puppy is a 10 month old miniature poodle who weight is 13 lbs.

    Terrific place for dogs

We took our 2 dogs for the farm and house tour. Everyone was completely welcoming. It seems like the animals are used to guests of all kinds because they were not bothered by the dogs. The baby goats were just as curious about the dogs as the dogs were about them. Super cute! The farm is 15 acres so there is plenty of room to walk around with the dogs.

    Amazing Experience

Super dog friendly from start to finish! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming to not only myself but my pup as well! From the bus tour to the house tour my dog was able to experience the entire day with me! She loved seeing the goats and different animals along the farm as well. I will definitely be back!

    Great time!!!

Took our 4 month old pup for her first road trip. First stop was The Amish Farm and House. We just did the farm and house tour. We were not disappointed. Kenzie was warmly welcomed. it was an early weekday so the farm wasn’t busy. She walked all over and saw all kinds of animals. The house tour was a good place for her to have a nice rest, while we learned more about The Amish Culture. Thanks BringFido.Com for the suggestion.

    Fun for the whole Family

I took my dog Daisy on the Bus tour (around $26) which includes unlimited time walking around the farm. We checked in and had a few minutes to spare before the bus tour left so we explored the farm a bit. It was an overcast day so the farm was free of crowds and we got to check out all of the goats, llamas, cows, turkeys etc. They have a little stall where you can buy snacks like homemade root beer and soft pretzels. There are also craftspeople who do wood carving and sewing etc in front of you. You can ask them questions and request custom made stuff. There is a self guided tour where you can learn about amish traditions and the history of the farm. And in the back there's a corn maze! The farm is definitely geared towards children but Daisy and I also had a really great time.

The bus tour was great. I learned a lot about Amish culture and Daisy had fun visiting the working Amish farms. We first stopped at a bakery where they let you browse the store and buy homemade baked goods. Then they take you to a Amish dairy farm where you can see the cows being fed and milked. There's a little store there too where you can buy quilts and other handmade things. The tour guide was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions without hesitation.

Everyone cooed over Daisy and gave her a lot of love. Bring your own water! We had a great time and definitely recommend it!

    Exceptional Tour Opportunity!

My dog, Jake, and I thoroughly enjoyed the bus, farm, and house tours at The Amish Farm and House. The guides were so knowledgeable about the Amish people's culture and were so personable as well. Jake was treated just like another visitor and he was able to take part in all of the activities. What an exceptional opportunity to delve into the Amish lifestyle! Jake and I strongly recommend this high quality educational experience.

    Super Dog Friendly

There’s no place she couldn’t go. Truly dog friendly. On a hot day... make sure you bring your own bowl and water. We took the bus tour, house tour and the farm tour. Our pup was allowed everywhere. Highly recommend!

    No restrictions, great tours

Looking for a cool place to take the family to include your dog? The Amish Farm and House in Lancastef, PA is amazing. I just went there today with my dog. It is a 2 hour drive. There is zero restrictions to dogs. They are allowed everywhere. To include the house tour and the bus tour. I dont recommend the house tour. It was short, boring, noting different or interesting and was just a repeat of a small fraction of what happened on the bus tour. the bus tour takes you to other amish farms and shops and let's you shop around. That one is 90 minutes and well worth it again pets are welcome on it. Booster seats and car seats are provided when needed. It was a lot of fun and I would probably go back again.
