Great Lunch

We stopped by today for lunch with our two Rottweilers. The patio is a little small so if it’s busy you might be waiting for a patio spot with your pup. But other than that it was great. Food was good and the waitstaff were very nice and attentive. Would definitely stop here again.

Awesome Spot!

This place is great! They welcome all dogs as long as they don’t bark. We went with our 2 Rottweilers. Marvin and Jim were great and very welcoming as well as very knowledgeable about the museum. One owner owns all these vehicles and it’s a great collection. It’s just like going to a weekend car show. It’s a $15 fee per adult (I saw somewhere it said a $10 donation) but I’d happily pay it and go again though.

Great Spot

we stopped here on our way to our hotel for the night. It was about an hour before closing and they were getting ready to close down the patio but they were super accommodating and let us eat on the patio with our Rottweiler, Nova. Our waiter was great. Very nice and attentive even though we were the only people outside. The food and drinks came quick, along with refills. The food was so good! The onion rings were top notch, the shakes were great, burgers and steak were cooked just how we ordered. We brought our own bowls and food for our dog, so couldn’t speak to if they offer and bowls of water for your pet or not. Would definitely come here again if we were ever back in the area!

Best La Quinta on our trip!

We stayed here on our way home and were very pleased. Jazz, who checked us in around 10:00pm was such a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and welcoming. The hotel was clean and well kept. Our room was also very clean and tidy. Breakfast was good as far as free hotel breakfasts go. We stayed at all La Quinta hotels on our trip and this was by far the best one. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing!

my husband, daughter and our dog Nova had the most amazing time with Tara. She had a wealth of knowledge and we learned a lot. The dolphins were spectacular and she knew just where to go. I have never been snorkeling and neither had my daughter, she was very patient and a great teacher. She watched Nova on the boat while the 3 of us went snorkeling and when my daughter was done she joined us and showed us some great places to see some really cool fish along a reef. Then we went to a sandbar where Nova was able to get out and swim with all of us. The weather was beautiful, the dolphins were spectacular, the swimming/snorkeling was top notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, and the fact we were able to do it with our pup made it even better. ☺️

Absolutely Worth It

Went with the family which includes our Rottweiler Nova. Such a beautiful place. There is an ADA trail for those with limited mobility. We took the traditional trail first. There is a lot of steps and uneven walking paths, and an area called “Fat Man’s Squeeze” and yea it was a little squeeze as we are on the larger side. But it looks a bit smaller than what it actually is. The fairyland caverns are worth it, but again it is very dark, wet, with uneven terrain and steps. We went a little slower and used our flashlights on our phone when needed to help see. This landed us back at the beginning of the trail and then used the ADA trail to make it to the top. The view from the top makes the price of the ticket 100% worth it. However, right after I took the picture of the “Seven States” Nova decided she needed to jump up in the sign and have a near death experience. Scared me to death. So after some tears, cocktails and snacks on the wooden rocking chairs looking at the beautiful view, we made our way back to the entrance. I would definitely go again, and this time make sure Nova can’t get to close to the edge!

Would Stay Again

Stayed here last night with the family which includes Nova, our Rottweiler. Our room was clean, however, I did go back down and note a few things with the front desk clerk that were broken and torn as I didn’t want to have to pay their fees at the end. They have a typical no dog on the bed or furniture rule that could also cost you an extra fee. Breakfast was ok, pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, juice and packets of hot cereal. The “dog park” was a bit run down and the gate was broken but I didn’t plan on using it anyway. Plenty of other places to walk your dog. It was very close to our destination of Lookout Mountain. I would stay again.
