We’re not quite comfortable letting our dog roam totally freely without a fenced in off leash area, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. Lots of dogs and kids running around so it can be very stimulating if you have a reactive dog, but once ours got used to it he was blissfully lying on the grassy hill

Our dog LOVED Fort Funston. Both of us had never seen anything like it. To get down you go down a sandy cliff side staircase. The beach is massive and there are tons of dogs. All the dogs seemed to be well trained and mild tempered. Our dog was so happy!

Great Location- convenient to a lot of apartment buildings. Dog owners are pretty friendly and dogs have gotten along well each time we’ve visited. Our dog is not a huge fan of the gravel, but he has fun!!

Right across from the water and a park, location can’t be beat. We were able to park right under our room, so getting up there was super easy. The staff was very friendly and the room was great - included a porch overlooking the bay!

Right off of I-40, this was very convenient for our cross country road trip. The staff was welcoming of our dog and there were wide grassy areas around most of the hotel

Right off of I-40, this attraction is very cool for the humans and was easy to bring the dog with! It’s free and you walk through a turnstile into a large field. The Cadillac’s are about 200 yards from the road. Good opportunity for our dog to stretch his legs!

We stayed with our dog on a Monday night while road tripping. The hotel was quiet and there’s free parking. In the nice little downtown area so you can walk your dog around. They charged $50 cleaning fee for our dog but did tell us ahead of time
