Great Wine And Great Dog Accommodations

Banner Elk Winery

We were able to sit INSIDE with our dog (even though he howled a little) and enjoyed amazing wine and amazing customer service. Cannot wait to come back here!

Warm And Welcoming

B. Matthew's Eatery

We sat outside with our two large dogs for an early dinner. The waiter brought our pups treats and gave them lots of attention which was a relief to me because one of them is extremely anxious in new places. He made me feel much better about bringing her out. The food and drinks were fantastic too. There are only 2 outdoor tables that we saw so call ahead if you’re bringing your pups here. We will definitely be back.

Stroller dog Friendly

Wicked Weed Brewing

They were dog friendly until our hound started barking when his dad went to get us beers from the bar. After that we were asked to leave because he was too loud (which I felt was ridiculous considering they’re right next door to a concert Venus). It was disappointing considering they advertise as extremely dog friendly and he had been barking for all of 3 minutes while they let his owner buy beers that wouldn’t be able to be consumed because we had to leave beforehand. Disappointing because our first evening there with our dog was lovely, but the second night (a loud Saturday night) he was considered a nuisance and kicked out(!!). I’ve never been kicked out of a bar before, much less so because of my dog and it was extremely upsetting that they couldn’t handle a little barking. Not nearly as dog friendly as they advertise.
