Retired and love driving around the country with my dog

Best pork tenderloin sandwich in KC. Lunch on the patio was great even when the train goes past!

Good location near ferry and on the lake with great grass area and water access for dog. Room was acceptable but a little worn.

Plenty of grass and well lit area. Walk to restaurant across parking lot. No free breakfast but room was spacious with fluffy towels and comfy bed.

Location was right next to the Lock but unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the park. Plenty of grass for dogs use and free parking. Room was comfortable but there was some street noise.

If you’ve ever visited a historic home and wondered what it would be like to stay there, this is your chance! This house is nearly 140 years old with lots of stained glass and original fireplaces with beautiful mantelpieces and tile, but also air conditioning, WiFi and TV. Our dog was given lots of love. There is a grassy area across the street and a large park a short block away. Breakfast was fabulous changing daily. We stayed in the Library room on the first floor with private bathroom. It had an old claw footed tub that was a treat. The outside is still being renovated so a little rough and parking is on the street, but it is a pretty quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice out of the way resort. Modern, clean, spacious room. Lots of areas for our dog to run. The restaurant was good. On the river and golf course.

They love dogs. They gave us a toy and water bowl. Dogs not allowed on the beach, but the boardwalk was nice. Lots of pet friendly restaurants nearby. A lovely park not too far away.

We stopped for the trout and had a great meal on a lovely patio. Mickey enjoyed the attention and we enjoyed the food.

Spring for a room with lake view, it has door directly to outside grassy area! So easy for pet relief. Large comfortable room.

Pizza by the slice great salad and they offer a side of chicken for the dog!

Lots of good dog friendly restaurants within a short walk. Room was small but updated and comfy bed. A/C was great. Grassy areas nearby.

Love Taco Tuesday! Outside sitting area very pleasant. Fried ice cream and tequila for dessert!

Right in the middle of Main Street where all the action is. It is an old hotel and the room is not huge, but it is updated and very comfortable. Frisco is very dog friendly and Mickey has been welcomed everywhere. There was a lovely patio right outside our room and they have daily happy hour drinks. We can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast was great for both humans and dog! Mickey got a bacon treat from our waitress

They are very dog friendly! Our server brought Mickey a slice of Turkey wrapped bacon! He was in heaven. Our C’s combo of brisket and ham with beans and cheesy corn was plenty for 2 and delicious!

If you love German food and dogs this is the place to come. They are very dog friendly. The schnitzel is fabulous, the beer is cold and try the chocolate sauerkraut cake for dessert.

Wonderful old classic hotel. Very dog friendly. Room was large and quiet and we were there on St Pat’s day. Macaroni and cheese in restaurant was creamy and good. Parking was on the street in front of hotel, but it was not a problem. Wonderful park across the street for dog relief. Great alternative to expensive Santa Fe hotels. We will definitely remember this spot.

Very welcoming to our pup. Patio has fire pit, heaters and shade. Food was good. We will be back

Great location within walking distance of restaurants and just across the street from a nice park as well as grass lined sidewalks for walking. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom but a nice shower. Staff was very dog friendly and pub in the hotel had good food.

Downtown hotel close walk to fun restaurants. A short walk to park for dog walks. Nice sized room.

Very welcoming to my dog. Green area was just across the street which is great for a downtown hotel. Parking is expensive, but that’s pretty common for downtown hotel. Westin has the best beds!

Great location in lower city, close to the funicular. Room was large and great shower.

Looking forward to eating here, but they are CLOSED for the SEASON! website says they are open. They are not. 3 bones because I had to give bones.

Large grassy areas, spacious room, large shower, couch in king room. Close to dining and hot breakfast.

Close to lots of great eating and shopping, without having to find a parking space. It is an iconic old time motel. The room is not large, but the beds are comfortable. The staff was great. Dog relief area was small, but clean.

This is a new development area with dog friendly restaurants and nice grassy areas for walking. They charge a “resort fee”, but have afternoon snacks as well as breakfast. They also give you “free” money to spend in their shop that you can use for snacks.

Our room was spacious and quiet. There was a lot of nice green grass. There are several nearby places to eat. The Big Texan Steakhouse was a mile away!

We had some really good Mexican food. I had a chicken and cheese stuffed sopapilla and my husband had tacos. They even have a menu for dogs! Mickey got ice water and lots of pets! Tables were shaded. An old Route 66 restaurant.

A Margarita in the shade with water for the dog!

If you like something a little different, stay at this historic hotel. There is green space across the street and it is near dog friendly restaurants and across the street from the old train station. Remember it is an old restored hotel so it has a few quirks. We upgraded to a larger room and it was very spacious. The reason for 4 bones is no breakfast (but there is dog friendly in the old station) and parking was on the street.

Nice sidewalk for a walk and plenty of grass. Not really walking distance to restaurants, but several to choose from within a mile.

Food was great and everyone fawned on our dog. Server brought him bacon! After eating take a walk down Main Street for interesting shops.

Dogs are welcome at tables under the canopy. Request a “pup cup” for your dog. My dog loves his ice cream!

Saw all the 5-bone ratings for this hotel and decided we had to try it. It was a really fun hotel. Staff was all great and Mickey got lots of love. Room decor was concrete floors with oriental rugs. Loved the shower and soft close barn doors. Green area across the street was adequate and felt quite safe after dark. Several nice restaurants a close walk. Beale street is about 0.6 mile away so not a bad walk. Streetcar stops in front of hotel. Definitely recommend this place!

Our dog was welcome all over the hotel. There was plenty of grass and a walking trail past the dog park. Trail was steep but shaded. Room was comfortable. Mickey joined us at the Rooftop Bar to watch the sunset.

Love this quaint little hotel! Within walking distance of really good restaurants and the heart of Santa Fe. No pet relief area, but close to the plaza and a short walk to a nice stroll by the river.
Lots of sidewalks around lake. Dog park closed Wednesday but we had a good walk. Lots of nice dogs and grass

Big room. Quiet area with a nice area for a walk.

Area behind hotel next to golf course has lots of room for walks. Hot breakfast.

A very comfortable and spacious room, but if your dog won’t “go” on rocks, you are out of luck.

The hotel was clean and quiet with a friendly staff and adequate grass, but the highlight of this hotel is location to restaurants! There were at least 6 either across the parking lot or a very short walk away. Will definitely stay again.

The room was freshly decorated with nice sheets and towels and clean. There was grass for the dog, but the walls were thin and I could hear the tv next door and the people upstairs. The heater worked great, but the door opened to the outside and I could see light through it. There was a nice Mexican restaurant across the street, but I tend to be a little cautious in a hotel with an outside window for late check in. The neighborhood was a little “sketchy."

Room was great with comfy bed and walk to restaurants. Good breakfast. Green space was not very big but it was

Hotel was clean with nice large patio for eating outside and nice green space and sidewalks for walking. Room was a little noisy but that might have been the soccer team in for a tournament. Best feature for us was lots of eating choices in walking distance.

Everyone here loves dogs! Covered patio was very pleasant and the food was good. I had a great Philly cheesesteak and my spouse had trout. We couldn’t pass up the pie either

Great grassy area for the dog. Even though it was on the highway it was quiet. Chicken wing restaurant right in front was good. No breakfast.

Off the beaten track in Santa Fe. Tapas was great on the patio with our dog! Food was wonderful. Parking was a challenge but worth the trouble.

Lunch was good and beer sampler tray was great. Nice large covered patio with lots of tables.

we enjoyed lunch looking at the boats that brought in the catch! BamBam Shrimp was fabulous! Our dog enjoyed being with us on the patio. Service was great and prices were too!

Big, clean room. Grassy dog areas with waste bags. I’d stay here again

Lots of grass even on a damp day. Plenty of space to roam with 2 large dog areas.

Just off the interstate on the road into Stillwater. A fun college town. Far enough out of town to be quiet. Lots of grass for dog relief. Nice size room and very clean.

Good restaurant next door. Nice grass for dog.

Newer hotel close to restaurants. Grassy area for dog relief
Our first visit to Savannah and this was a perfect introduction to a beautiful city. Eric was a personable and knowledgeable guide.

Large covered patio with heaters. Fried shrimp was lightly breaded and delicious. Shrimp and grits was creamy good.

The room had plenty of space and was clean and comfortable. They provided a hot breakfast which during these COVID times is unusual and it was very good. If you are traveling with your dog this is the place to stay! The room had a dog bed waiting for us as well as dog bowls and two towels for the dog! The towels came in handy after a walk in the rain. There was also a shuttle on demand to take us, dog included, to all the attractions and dinner. We never waited more than ten minutes for this service and parking down in the city is hard to find.

Very welcoming to our dog. Waitress brought water and lots of attention. Food was Mexican mostly and tasty. The patio was really nice. Would recommend this place.

Nice covered patio and the service was very good. My husband had oysters and chowder and I could get a hamburger. Nice selections
A little walk from the parking opens to a lovely beach

Nice covered patio. Food was good

The description allowed 2 dogs for total weight of 50 pounds, but we asked if they would allow our 60 pound doodle and they allowed it. This location is perfect, walk to beach or dinner. Lots of dog friendly restaurants.

All the wait staff were great with our dog. They brought water and treats. Food was nicely priced and good.

Our dog was very welcome and the food was very plentiful and good.

And music, too. Very accommodating with our dog. Wait staff and customers very friendly. Evening was cool and there were plenty of space heaters.

Room was spacious with small kitchenette, great for a carry out dinner from The Crayfish Shack, within walking distance. Large grassy area for our dog. Will definitely try another Staybridge.

A large, clean, well maintained dog park. Dogs there were very friendly and owners polite

The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. There is a large grassy area for the dog and a good restaurant less than a block away. Inside lobby and hall has interesting old railroad memorabilia and breakfast was above and beyond for these COVID-19 times. Staff was very friendly. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. I highly recommend it.

Room was not large but it is an old hotel but updated. Walled in area for pet relief was small rocks not grass but I felt safe taking my dog out after dark. New Mexico governor declared no dogs in outdoor eating areas but we found several restaurants in walking distance working around the rule. Good stay!

Not within walking distance of restaurants but great grassy area and nice large, clean room. New hotel

Wonderful dog area with grass and lights at night. Good dog friendly restaurant just across the parking lot.

we did see a couple dogs off leash, but most were on. nice beach, though

Clean, nice lobby, green space was a walk down the street but it was a nice neighborhood

On the beach with green spot for dog. A short walk on the beach promenade to restaurants.

Very pet friendly with a covered patio just a short dog walk from Falls Park!

Really nice hotel. Walk to the River Walk with our dog. Green area for potty break

Room was large and hotel was new. It was close to the runway for the military base and the planes were noisy but that was only for a short time.

Clean, quiet and nice area of grass for dog
