My husband Robin and I enjoy traveling with our mini Aussie, Blue Bayou, in our Tesla Model 3.

This is the best hotel with dog accommodations we have ever stayed. Large, clean comfortable room with sliding door out to trail. We walked over to Lido for dinner on a heated dog friendly patio. There are a few electric chargers and our Tesla is getting a full charge over the night.

We got a dog-friendly room that was also an ADA room, wheelchair accessible. There was a huge bathroom with no curbs. All fixtures were far out. George Jetson would be at home here. Lovely people work here. Mat and Bob steered in the right direction for dinner and breakfast spots within walking distance. Our dog Blue Bayou especially loved the Juilliard Park across the street.

Imagine a sliding glass shower door with the fixed panel on the shower valve side so that to turn the dial you must enter on the far side and reach forward. The cold water takes time to get hot. You must endure the cold if you want to take a shower. No shower for me this morning.

A tastefully appointed accommodation for both humans and dog. Rooms have a patio with patio chairs and table. The location was a pleasant short walk to dog-friendly restaurants -- Gloria’s was our favorite. Comfortable bed and good shower. I like their choice of colors and industrial-style accessories. We also had the benefit of free electric charging for our Tesla (with our adapter). Breakfast was good on the outside patio.

Ashley was a breath of fresh air on a extremely hot day. She found my Wyndham rewards account which allowed us to check in early without a $30 fee. The Tesla charger use, very convenient, cost $30, double the amount of a full charge at a supercharger. The welcomed air conditioning was very loud. Good shower once the water got warm. A final bonus was the fabulous Italian restaurant on the backside of the Travelodge, Angelina’s.

Loud air conditioning unit that could not be adjusted for noise or temperature. Good shower and nice size room.

Sweetwater Branch Inn is the most wonderful place we stayed during this long road trip from California to Florida and back home to California. Besides a superb dog-friendly cottage near a park, breakfast was amazing. Gourmet breakfast and pastries in a charming vintage house. Blue Bayou had a good time too.

A dog friendly hotel with a large parking garage here unbelievable river walk. It was a perfect place to spend the night. It was a perfect place to walk the dog to a wonderful restaurant across an arched bridge, dedicated to Robert Hugman, the designer of the Riverwalk.

The hotel had been the school house for the Peter and Paul Church. Large bedroom with sitting area, a large desk, large bathroom with shower and a claw foot bath tub. Drinking glasses, not plastic. Small refrigerator with small freezer. French doors with surface slide bolts that open to brick driveway. Fabulous restaurant next door at what had been the Rectory. Dog-friendly outdoor tables. We had a memorable evening. Blue Bayou loved it too.

Nothing special, just a good bed, a desk with a low chair that couldn’t be adjusted, and a decent shower. There is a dog run split down the middle with one side for large dogs and the other side for small dogs. I only saw two large dogs there in the evening. There were no dogs at all on either side in the morning.

A most interesting place. Room was spacious, bed comfortable. Blue liked sleeping under the bed.

We came in June when most people don’t, so we pretty much had the place to our selves. Lovely, clean, dog friendly. The patio on the lake behind the hotel was delightful. We had cocktails and a light dinner. Blue gives it 5 bones.

We had a comfortable night. I loved the desk. Good shower.

Gualala on Highway 1 has no super chargers. We fully charged our Tesla in Petaluma. There is a charger for all electric vehicles near the office. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The shower delivered hot water; however, my husband complained that the shower was too low for him.
