The rooms are large, and the property has ample space for walking the dogs.

Wickies is great. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on the dog-friendly patio. Servers also bring out water for thirsty pups.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The reception was friendly. No issues at check-in.

The Aloft is a great dog-friendly hotel chain. But, on our recent stay at the Jacksonville airport location, the service fell short of brand standards. In this case, there was hair in the shower and a used coffee filter left in the coffee maker from a prior guest's stay. There was also no soap in the bathroom. This one needs a bit better quality control.

The Inn at East Beach is a great pet-friendly hotel. The staff was friendly, and the room was very spacious and clean.

Located on the UCLA campus, the Luskin is a beautiful hotel with ample exterior space to walk the dogs. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was well-maintained.

Sanibel’s newest restaurant is dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the patio.

The Hutton Hotel was very welcoming to our crew. Five bones!

Ace and Roxy enjoy the vibe at the Cantina's dog-friendly outdoor patio. Water bowls are provided for the pups upon request.

The second location of Blue Giraffe is just as terrific as the original. This one is more of a local's place than the Periwinkle location. Great food and service! And, of course, it's dog friendly.

Our dogs had a great time at The Art of Animation Resort. At check-in, we were offered pet amenities, which include mats, bowls, poop bags, door hanger, and map that displayed the resort's pet relief areas. Our assigned room was a "Cars" themed suite located near the exit doors on the ground floor of Building #2. The location made for easy access to the expansive pet relief zone. Ample grass and meandering well-lit paths made for enjoyable early morning and late-night excursions with the dogs.

Enjoyed the ocean views and the yummy food. Don’t miss the Xango for dessert.

This historic property is a great place to stay with your dog. I recommend the Cityside Executive King Room for extra space for your pup. Our dogs loved being greeted by staff with treats, and really had fun going shopping in the pet-friendly stores throughout the mall. Five bones for sure!

The La Quinta is convenient to I-40 and perfect for pet owners looking to stay with their big dogs in the Gatlinburg area. Staff was very friendly. Dog treats were offered at the front desk.

Ace and Roxy has a fun time in Frankenmuth. The Drury Inn & Suites was just a short walk from pet-friendly shops, dining and the Bavarian Belle Riverboat. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

Country Inn offers comfortable accommodations with a great lakefront location right. The adjacent dog-friendly lake trail is great for stretching Fido’s legs. Pet friendly patio dining at the on-site restaurant is also nice.

Our dogs loved the waterfront location. Service was terrific. Water bowls were provided for the pups. Food was yummy!

Don’t miss the drive through Needles. There are several spots to stop and take photos along the way. If you have an oversized vehicle, check the restrictions to make sure you fit through the skinny one-way tunnels along the highway.

Custer State Park offers several days’ worth of adventures for you and your pup. Hiking, canoeing on Sylvan lake, and wildlife viewing on the scenic drives are all great options.

Our pups had a great time at the Lodge at Deadwood. They were given treats at check-in, and the pet relief area was easily accessible from our room. We recommend booking a room on the ground floor with a walkout to the courtyard/exterior. This enables you to let the dogs out without walking through the lobby.

Ace and Roxy enjoyed their time on the back patio of Driftaway Cafe. Grouper catch of the day was delicious. Tuna tartare was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Ace and Roxy highly recommend Panini’s for dog-friendly dining in Beaufort. Access the patio from the back side of the building and ask for the dog menu. Staff is friendly and provides ice water for the pups.
