Great place to eat with a dog
Buffalo Gap Saloon & EateryBuffalo Gap has done a great job expanding their back patio seating during COVID. Its super comfortable, with heaters (extra warm pellet heaters, instead of the skimpy propane ones), covered seating in case of rain, and even a TV.
They’re very accommodating of dogs, and the food never disappoints.
Now called LOGE - great place to stay
LOGE BendI love LOGE’s amenities, trails, and rooms. They did a great job sprucing up an old motel and making it a fun, comfortable place to stay.
It’s perfect for dogs (even has a small dog park) and you’re close to all the adventure Bend has to offer.
Perfectly dog friendly
Tetherow HotelThe Tetherow is a great place to stay when you’re in Bend with a pup.
The pet fee includes dishes, a treat, waste bags, and a bed.
The pet-friendly rooms aren’t a downgrade (as is the case at some hotels). They’re beautifully appointed and have lovely views.
As far as I could tell, dogs are welcome everywhere on the property except the pool/fitness center, inside the restaurants, and on the golf course. There are plenty of walking trails and waste disposal sites.
I’ll definitely be back here soon.
