Sweet spot in Santa Fe
The Lodge at Santa FeThis location is great because it’s outside the fray of the downtown plaza scene. There’s ample parking and plenty of green space. We had a room on the lower floor with easy access to the outside for my pup. Staff was friendly and helpful. Felt safe as well.

Wonderful resting stop
The Crofting InnThis is a traditional bed and breakfast within a historic home. Our hosts, Gail and Scott, were very friendly, informative about the area, and made us a great breakfast! There is a grassy lot next to the house for the pups; they are totally welcome in the home and dining area. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Great stay!
Hilton Sacramento Arden WestLots of grass areas for dogs, friendly staff, and kid friendly breakfast (had a pancake maker). On the off chance that there’s a convention of visually impaired persons (I’m not even making this up) book your room as early as possible before the pet friendly rooms fill up with seeing eye dogs.

Beautiful location
The Nautical Beachfront ResortVery dog friendly resort with lots of dog owners. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. I think all of the rooms have a lakeside view? The upper units are not recommended for dog owners, especially lil dogs. We had an upper room with a balcony and it was fine. My dog is small but old and not interested in going through the sides. While it is technically a resort, it’s more casual and family oriented. The kind of rooms where you bring in lakeside sand on your sandals kind of resort. You park yourself nearest to your room, it’s not valet. When traveling with my dog, this environment is a bonus and less stressful. We loved our stay!

Comfortable and friendly
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Conference Center PrescottHappy voices and music from the pub patio filled the air when I pulled up…good sign. Big affordable dog friendly room on the ground floor…doing good so far. Big lush grass area surrounds the hotel, yay!
While unloading car after checking in and parking my car, there were suddenly several police on site, and some were looking through the close by wooded area. Whatever the threat was, they all took it seriously and handled it with grace. I made sure they side entrance was closed tightly upon returning! Nice breakfast and decent coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Days drive from Boise
Best Western Paradise InnGood location, staff was friendly with our dog and it clean and comfy. Wish we’d known the to go breakfast from the cafe (serving as the hotel buffet) was an orange, a packaged muffin, and a small yogurt. If you need hot protein in the AM, use the coupon and order a proper breakfast from the cafe.
