First time traveling with a dog

This was our first time traveling with a dog. Although my preferred hotel is Marriott, that chain does not allow dogs particularly large ones. We booked the Sonesta Resort on Hilton Head for three nights. The trip was flawless. Our 80 pound Olde English Bulldog was welcome everywhere except indoor restaurants and pool area. The first floor room made it easy to walk her. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach where she could run free from after 5pm and before 10am (during high season). Staff was cordial and helpful, room was clean and comfortable.
