Not worth it
Motel 6 Las Vegas NV - Boulder HwyThis Motel 6 is right next to a casino, which is probably why there was so much going on: people constantly walking by, loud yelling, car engines revving. My dogs were constantly on high alert, so none of us got good sleep. The bed had no comforter, and even though I requested a nonsmoking room I was in a room that smelled very heavily of smoke. In fact, my dogs’ little paws started collecting what I can only assume is cigarette smoke residue. The white towels that touched the floor also picked up the black soot. It was overall pretty gross and not very restful.
Decent
Super 8 by Wyndham Green RiverThe hotel itself is nice enough. There were stains on the sheets and the bath tub faucet leaked constantly, but the staff were incredibly friendly and the bed was comfy enough to get a good night’s rest. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared to walk or drive if you’re looking to dine out. The views around the area are gorgeous and there’s plenty of room to walk and play with your dogs.
So relaxing!
La Quinta by Wyndham Denver Tech CenterI enjoyed this hotel so much that I booked it for another night during my stay. The rooms are roomy, updated, and clean. The bed was pretty comfy. There was back door that opened up to a courtyard where my dogs could do their business. Dog bags were provided. Staff was friendly and helpful!
Meh
Motel 6 Beaver UTI love how Motel 6 always allows for pets, but this one had no other redeeming factors. The bare room and uncomfortable bed would have been okay, but the fact that there was only a single bar of soap (when other Motel 6’s at least offered shampoo) and the walls were so thin I could hear the tv in another person’s room made it a mediocre stay at best. The staff was nice and the location was beautiful (think mountains in the distance), but it cost too much for there to be so little offered.
No rest for the weary
Best Western Plus Fort Stockton HotelI appreciated that two dogs were allowed here (including my bigger boy), but both the dogs and people in our party got very little sleep. For one thing, there was some kind of party or festival going on in the lot beside the hotel, directly outside our window. The hotel staff informed us that the music/sound would be done around 10:00 - 10:30, but it lasted until after midnight. We also were startled awake over and over again by the slamming of the outside door. My pups were on guard the whole night because of it.
