Great Value
My Place Hotel - Loveland COPlenty of room to walk my dogs. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Front desk staff helpful and friendly.
Not very clean & oh so loud
La Quinta by Wyndham Rapid CityWe were hopeful this hotel would be nice. From the outside, things appeared newer and clean. Once inside the building, things went down hill. The hallways had carpeting that was very dirty. From wrappers off of food items to rocks, sand & debris lining the hallway. Seemed like a good vacuuming was needed. There was some kind of red jelly looking substance on the ceiling in our room. There were dirty hand towels in the bathroom as well as something in the bathtub that looked like sand (?).
Unfortunately, the “dog park” area was so full of dog poop, it was difficult not to step in it while letting my dogs have a potty break. I ended up just walking the trail that went around the property with my dog, so that we could avoid stepping in the crap! There is an indoor waterpark at one end of this complex. Expect loud children running the hallways, even late into the night. If they are staying above your room, good luck getting sleep. The lady at the front desk was very nice. I would not recommend this hotel.
Not the worst place
Super 8 by Wyndham SalinaArrived very late at night. Staff at front desk was direct and professional with clean appearance. Room was tidy. The floor was tiled, which made the room seem clean and Not have dirty carpet odor, like a lot of hotels. However, the sheets on second bed had some kind of dirty marks or stain on them. The night stand was obviously not wiped down, as there were liquid stains and some kind of brown flaky substance on the top. The edges of the furniture were quite worn. Some would even say, “Looks like a puppy dog chewed on those!” We only slept for a few hours and then had to hurry back on the road. There was enough green space for our dog to go potty. She seemed to appreciate it. I would stay again probably.
Nice staff, clean room
Best Western TorchliteUpon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff person. He had a great attitude and that made a big difference. The place is older, but the room was clean. Bed was comfortable. There was a decent size yard for my dogs to do their business. I would stay again.
Room not vacuumed
Travelodge by Wyndham North PlatteI do not understand why a traveler with pets gets charged the same or more for a room as other travelers, YET, gets a dirty, non-vacuumed room, with only two towels of any kind. There was enough grass on the carpet to weave a small basket! Just because I travel with my best friend, doesn’t mean I deserve or want a filthy room. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a small green space for my dogs to poop. Very basic set up.
Convenient place to stay
Best Western Dunmar InnDecent place to stay. Pup had a place to potty break.
Room was mostly clean
Baymont by Wyndham SheridanThe room was clean. There was space to walk my dog for potty break. The front desk person at check in was pleasant. The breakfast was ample. Overall, a nice place to stay.
Breakfast was lousy
Hotel Glenwood SpringsNot as fancy or as clean as the photos present. The guys at front desk were very nice. Room was not clean. The sheets were filthy. I guess because I had my dog with me they don’t think I would care that the room was gross?
Bathroom moldy
Expedition LodgeThe main space was okay, but the bathroom looked like it was from the 70’s with mold from that era. Gross. The breakfast was awesome and the morning desk person was great.
No real green space
Motel 6 Old Town Scottsdale/Fashion SquareNot the cleanest motel, but the bed was comfortable. My poor dog was looking for a patch of grass to poop and pee… only a small gravel space that was also being used for the smoker’s area. I was worried about her stepping on the broken glass. Overall, not impressed considering I paid so much for the room.
Dirty sheets on bed
Motel 6 Wheatland WYWhy can’t hotels wash the sheets for the beds? I turned downed the covers to check the bedding. Several long black hairs all over the sheet and something that looked like fresh blood stains on the sheets. We used our own travel blanket on top of another blanket on the second bed in the room, just so we could get some sleep from a very long day and night if travel. The bathroom sink hand NOT been cleaned. there was yellow colored spots all around the back by the handle area. And no hot water in sink. There was a place for my dogs to potty out the back/side door. The front desk person at check-in was pleasant. Will not stay here again.
This place is falling apart
Comfort Inn Evansville CasperWe were arriving very late after a long day of travel. I checked BringFido for a pet friendly place to stay. This place had good reviews as being clean, so I booked it. We arrived at almost midnight. Front desk clerk was friendly/pleasant. Got to room and saw a list of disgusting things in our room. The bathroom had trash on the floor, the shower curtain looked like someone tried to eat the top of it, there was some type of dried crud on the side of the bed/mattress, one bed looked as though it had been slept on/in but bedding not changed and the window curtain had a huge rip in it. The carpet was dirty in the room, but the carpet in the hallway was so stained, it looked as though it was a crime scene. There was what looked like mascara in the sink. The bathroom “art work” frames were peeling their fake wood grain paper off. If we weren’t so tired from travel at our midnight arrival, we would have left. Previous reviewers had better things to say… maybe they stayed in a different hotel? Very disappointed.
Friendly staff, mostly clean hotel
La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Love FieldThe staff was very friendly and helpful. There was fresh coffee brewed at all times. The breakfast was sufficient, although not quite the “spread” as it was pre-COVID. The Doggie bag posts/trash pails were completely empty of bags, so prepare to bring your own. That being said, it appeared that no other travelers came prepared, as there were large amounts of dog poop on ground near the doggie-bag areas.
We felt safe in our room and the parking lot was well lit. I appreciate being able to bring my dogs along.
Was tired, so stayed anyway...
Motel 6 Grand Island NEThe bad: As soon as we walked in the room, the smell of a mixture of old Smoke & Floral PineSol hit so strong, my dog tried to walk back out the door. We had to open the window to air out the room. The curtains were halfway hanging off the curtain rod/runner. The floors in the hallways and stairwells were extremely dirty. Looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or swept in a very long time. The good: The desk clerk (young man) was super nice. The bed/sheets seemed clean. Grateful for a place to sleep, where we could also bring our dogs at a reasonable price. We were so very tired and ready to get off the road from long day of travel, we stayed anyways.
Good price
Motel 6-Kearney NEThe room was clean. The front desk attendant (male) was NOT NICE. Very rude and abrupt. Otherwise, good place to stay with pets.
