Complete Comfort
Hyatt Place Roanoke Airport/Valley View MallOur 1 year old poodle puppy was treated like family versus being ignored. Had a large relief area.

Not great
Holiday Inn Lancaster an IHG HotelThe room was beautiful but definitely dog tolerant and NOT pet friendly!!! My hotel room was on the 6th floor! I have a 10 month old (13 pound) miniature poodle who is terrified of elevators; yet the room was right next to them so he barked every time it dinged!!! I was also in the room next to the ice machine so all night long we either heard the ice machine running or the elevator dinging so the puppy was on barking more than normal! The bedding in the room is all white...so my entire stay I spent worrying that my puppy was going to have an accident. Oh, that's another thing; there is NO local grassy area for my puppy to relieve himself. So because of this I spent most of my day at Beau's dog park which was a few miles away (22 minute walk). I was completely disappointed in my hotel stay!!! I don't recommend staying here if you have a pet.

Great Pet Friendly Bus Tour!!!
The Amish Farm and HouseAwesome place to include not only our puppy but also our family. The Amish Farm and House in Lancaster, PA is simply amazing. It is a 6 hour drive from Northeast Ohio but well worth it. There is zero restrictions to my puppy. He was allowed everywhere. To include the house tour and the bus tour. The bus tour takes you to other amish farms and shops... they even let you shop around. We took the 90 minute tour and well worth every penny! Please remember pets are welcome everywhere... even on the Amish bus tour. If you're curious our puppy is a 10 month old miniature poodle who weight is 13 lbs.

Railroad Conductor Puppy!!!
Lehigh Gorge Scenic RailwayBrittle had a great time on his first train ride along the Lehigh scenic gorge railroad. Totally pet friendly, they even gave him his own ticket. There is a little ice cream shop that sold us a pupuccino ice cream cup. A great finish to a wonderful pet friendly day.

Respectful & Friendly Dog Park
Beau's Dream Dog Park at Buchanan ParkWe brought our 13lb miniature poodle puppy here while we were on vacation in Lancaster to let him run around for a bit with other dogs; to bring him out of his shell. Our puppy seemed to enjoy himself very much. It was a nice outing for our puppy, we didn't run into any problems, and the other owners were also friendly.

Fun for everyone including our pet.
Abe's Buggy RidesWe really enjoyed the buggy ride and our host/driver (Paul) was very fun and informative. We passed some beautiful scenery and learned a lot about Amish customs and local history. He was also VERY pet friendly which made our 1 hr ride even more enjoyable for our 13 lb miniature poodle. We finally stopped at the Bird In Hand Bakery to enjoy all the smells Autumn brings.
