I stayed here for a week with my dog and the entire staff was LOVELY! They all really like dogs and work hard to make the experience enjoyable for them: from bringing my food to the lobby (dogs aren't allowed in restaurants in VT), to water bowls and treats, to lots of open lawns and spaces around the property to safely walk day or night. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. For humans, the food is spectacular farm to table and the coffee is perfect.

We got one of the bigger corner rooms which was perfect for the dog to run around after three long days of travel. Staff is VERY friendly to dogs. The restaurant will do take out; highly recommend eggs and grits for breakfast!

Wow I am absolutely thrilled to report that my dog Elton was treated so well here. Doggie bed and gift bag delivered to the room. Everyone was SO incredibly nice to us! The vibe was friendly and happy, Elton was allowed everywhere with me! As a former hotel and restaurant executive I have to say this place was overall one of the most positive experiences I could have imagined!

Welcomed me and my dog Elton with open arms! Room with fireplace, hot tub and spa quality bedding in a cozy mountain lodge atmosphere. Safe parking right outside the room for easy loading and unloading. And the hamburger, OMG the menu was right, it's a famous burger. Almost ordered one for the dog too!
