Beautiful

I don't typically visit dog parks but after driving a lot over the course of two days, we needed a place to let our dog get a bit more exercise than a leashed walk. We went to the park during non-peak hours (11am on a weekday) and basically had the place to ourselves for 15 min. Dogs slowly filtered in after that but we had no issues. The park is huge and covered with gorgeous trees. There are bathrooms, a lake for doggos to swim in, water access, and a cleaning station. There are also trail(s) but we didn't go on them because our little dude got tired out pretty quickly. Highly recommend a visit to this park if you are nearby.

Noisy!

When we arrived, the hotel seemed nice and the grounds were clean. When I checked in, there was no mention of a dedicated dog area so you can imagine what the grassy areas really looked like. There was also a lot of trash hidden in the grass that looked like it had been there for awhile. People also like to leave full bags of fast food garbage near your car and act like it is yours. So there is also that to look forward to.

Now, the room was fine the first night. The second night, our bathroom ceiling fan started leaking. We were moved to another room. We had very loud guests staying near us the first night. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 5am and these people were slamming doors and talking loudly well until 11:45pm. They were staying in 2-3 rooms next to us and across the hall. We complained and were told if it happened again, they would be kicked out. Spoiler alert: they weren't. 3:30am it happened AGAIN. You can bet when we were leaving for the day the following morning at 6:00am and my dog started barking at three of them coming down the hall and screaming like banshee at my foot-tall dog, I just let him bark for a few moments next to our "neighbors" door. What goes around, comes around.

The elevators were disgusting and 2 of the 3 had trash that remained for the duration of our stay. This hotel could stand to improve from an hourly basic cleaning checklist for the lobby and elevators, parking lots, etc. It could also improve from having staff that enforce regulations. We will not be visiting again.

Clean and Comfortable

The hotel, grounds, and our room were clean! The hotel is within walking distance to a fun outdoor shopping area: Icon Park. We would consider staying here again!

Right off the interstate

The location was great. They are doing some remodeling inside so some things were not available (ice machines). The TV in our specific room did not function, which was a bummer. We only stayed one night and arrived late so it was not a big deal.

Close to a park!

The motel property was mostly clean (can't account for other guests who think it is OK to leave trash by their cars when they leave). Our room was CLEAN and the AC was ICE COLD. There is a nice park within walking distance as well.

Convenient, Clean, Comfy

The front desk staff were so friendly! There was a bowl of dog bones and water near the entrance as well. The room was perfect - modern, clean, cozy, and comfy. The location was close to highways and shopping/restaurants. If we need to stay in Louisville again, we will be back.
