    Nice Big Park

Come here almost every day. It’s a nice park but definitely needs some TLC. Lots of dirt which turns in to mud. But other than that great place for dogs to run and play

Nice park but not nice people

People dont pay attention to their pets here! One pit mix jumped on me with muddy paws, another stole a frisbee & i had to go looking for owner to get it back, another huge pit mix jumped on top of my frail dog & wouldnt get off & screaming at owner who was on the phone & didnt seem concerned. No one has any respect, dog poop from other dogs i picked up & i will not recommend this park nor will i return

    Caution

Please be cautious. My dog got parvovirus and hookworm. Watch for fecus and do not share the same waterbowl. It can get muddy and standing water near the hose area. learned the hard way and is in the vet hospital for treatment for at least 4 days!!!

    Johnson Street Dog Park

This park is in Pembroke Pines just East of Palm on Johnson Street. It has recently been updated (July 2016) and is in great shape. Large dog area has two shaded bench areas and one large bench with no shade. Recently re-sodded, it has a fresh green lawn, no muddy or sandy spots. New entrance gates are easy to operate and the updated dog wash is wonderful and in excellent working condition. Only opportunities I can find - needs more shaded areas - perhaps investing in those "shade sails" that look like a large sail stretched between three poles. This would be great over the uncovered benches. The other, one more poop bag station inside the large dog area. Other than that, it's a great dog park

    Needs upkeep

It is sad that Pembroke Pines dog owners have only this alternative to a near by dog park. The park needs upkeep (shelter leak when it rains, crumbling obstacles, etc). We have so many parks and green areas in our City and I don't know why some of these unused areas are not converted over to something more useful such a dog park.

    Rockys Daddy

Visited today for first time. Park is nice and large. 2 separate areas for large and small dogs with separate entrances. Plenty of obstacles and play areas. Sits back off the road a bit. Ample parking. You can see your vehicle from whole park. Needs more shaded areas and seating. City employees were there mowing and left gates open so beware. Other then that I have seen worse.

    Watch your valuables

Forgot to add, cars are broken into and purses stolen, keep your stuff with you. That is an unfortunate aspect of the area, but the park itself for the dogs is fine.

    Nice area for small dogs

My pooch loves this place. Plenty of friendly dogs & owners, area to run. Little wading pool to get in, doggie fountain. Well kept grounds and owners keep up with potty patrol (at least in small area, don't know about large dog side). Wish they had more covered area for owners to sit, only two benches.
